COMC & Divination
A/N
Last Wednesday my parents took me to a vacation in Bahamas, so... EXCUSE!
---------------------------------------------------------------
Harry's P.O.V.
Today was our first day back at Hogwarts, and our first class hour would be with Sybill Trelawney. The Divination teacher. She was kind of, bonkers. That's what Ron says.
"In this room, you shall explore the noble art of Divination."
Professor Trelawney had very curly and long hair which was held back by her strange headband, she had goggles on, which I don't know why. She wore dark green robes and numerous necklaces. "In this room, you shall discover if you posses the sight."
She stood up and almost immediately stumbled on the table in front of her, where a metal teapot sat. Which earned a few giggles.
"Hello. I am Professor Trelawney." She said, rounding the table. "Together, we will cast ourselves into the future!" Her voice was, very mystical. Like, a ghost's voice, just less deep. You know?
Her smile was bright and white, her eyes a darker green than mine.
"This term, we'll focus on Tasseomancy, the art of reading tea leaves." She said. A tea cup was set in front of each person, we were separated into a pair of people a table. However, Tess was alone, as Hermione was nowhere to be seen.
"So please, take the cup of the person sitting opposite you."
I grabbed Ron's cup as he grabbed mine. Though, Tess just sat awkwardly. "What do you see? The truth lies buried like a sentence deep within a book, waiting to be read." She walked towards Seamus held his head and shook it. "But first, you must broaden your minds. First, you must look beyond."
"What a load of rubbish." Hermione appeared beside Tess, whom held her heart as she was closest to her. "Bloody Hell, Hermione." She said.
"Where did you come from?" Ron, who was also startled, asked.
"Me? I've been here all this time." She declared.
"You boy. Is your grandmother quite well?" Professor Trelawney asked Neville, with a finger pointed at him. "I-I think so." Nevile stuttered.
"I wouldn't be so sure of that. Give me the cup." Neville's partner handed her his cup. She winced and put the cup down almost instantly. Poor Neville. "Pity."
In fear, Neville looked at his cup. "Broaden your minds."
She then looked at Ron and shrieked. "Your aura is pulsing, dear. Are you in the beyond?" She asked. Ron, who was startled, stared at her with wide eyes.
Ron nodded rapidly, still staring at her. "Sure."
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Tess roll her eye. "Look at the cup, tell me what to see." Professor Trelawney said. "Yeah, umm, well..."
He started to flip through the book looking for matching images. "Harry's got sort of a wonky cross. That's trials and suffering. And-a, that there could be the sun and that means happiness."
Ron came to a strange, very strange, conclusion. "So... You're going to suffer, but you're going to be happy about it." He said, with his eyebrow raised at me.
"Give me the cup." ProfessorTrelawney ordered.
With one look at it, she yelped and put it down. She backed up and looked at me in fear. "Oh dear boy. My dear... you have the grim."
