A Talk With Professor Lupin

I'm in school now, so chapters will be published after 3 pm.

Tess' P.O.V.
"Professor Lupin!" I called the Professor down the hallway. "I was thinking, can you teach me the patronus charm? Umm, I'd like to protect Harry. You know, he's been targeted by dementors a lot."
"I don't know, it's very complicated, Tess."
"Please, Professor. Harry's my friend. I want to protect him." I said. Though, I wish we were more.
"Sounds like more than a friend." The Professor said.
"Professor!" I said, in a whiny voice. The Professor chuckled. "Fine, lessons start after the holidays. I've been very tired these past few weeks."
"Thank you, Professor!" I exclaimed. I skipped my way to class.

Harry's P.O.V.
I saw Professor Lupin walking down the hallway. I've wanted to talk to him about dementors for a long time.
I jogged my way up to him. "Professor, I've been meaning to talk to you."
"Harry, I'm sorry. We need to talk tomorrow, I'm very tired today." Professor Lupin said. "Okay, Professor." I said, smiling at him.
"Meet me near the forest."
"Alright. Goodbye, Professor."
~Time skip~
"I'm really sorry about your broom." The Professor said. "Is there no chance of fixing it?"
"No." I replied. I wish they were. Now I have to use those Crummy School Brooms. Anyway, that's not the matter in hand. Dementors is the subject.
"Professor, why do the Dementors affect me so?" Yeah, good way to say it. (Sarcasm) He doesn't know what I'm talking about. "I mean, more than anyone else?"
"Listen, Dementors are amongst the foulest creatures to walk on Earth. They feed on every good feeling, every happy memory... until a person is left with absolutely nothing but their worst experiences." The Professor explained.
So, I'm weak?
"You are not weak, Harry."
I feel like I am. "The Dementors affect you most of all because there are true horrors in your past."
"Horrors your classmates can scarcely imagine."
Such as, Dementors, Voldemort, that black dog I saw, the grim, and the Dursleys. "You have nothing to be ashamed of."
Maybe the fact that I was the only one that couldn't vanish the Boggart in class is shame. I don't know. "I'm scared, Professor."
It's best to be honest.
"I'd consider you a fool if you weren't."
Bad to be an optimist.
"I need to know how to fight them." I said. "You could teach me."
But worst to be a pessimist.
"You made that Dementor on the train go away." I stated, looking back at the memory of the Dementor, sucking my happy memories away. I say I'm weak. Others say the opposite. "There was only one that night."
