“C’mon, you only talked to the girl for one day. It’s not like you were engaged.” I roll my eyes at Calum, sitting up at the front desk.
“I know, she’s just the first girl I’ve done anything with since Taylor and I dunno… It just took a lot to do it; and the fact that it didn’t work kinda stung.” I groan, looking out the front door.
“With my help you can do it again, I promise. Just come to the small party tonight and maybe things will turn up.” He grins, pulling out his phone.
“Who even is hosting the party?” I look at him; I don’t want to go to some pot head’s house.
“I dunno, some dude named Harry; I think he’s famous or something. Bri is friends with his girlfriend Stephanie. I heard he’s pretty cool.” He shrugs, clearly not knowing much about it.
“You promise I’m not going to get drugged? Or like mugged or something?” I chew on my lip; I can’t remember the last party I’ve been to. All I remember is I came home and was hung-over for something like two days afterwards.
“I promise. I even promise to find you a girl.” I ignore his grin, thinking about the options for a bit.
“I guess that’ll be fine. When is it?” I have no clue where this kid lives, or even when I need to be there.
“Be there at nine, and here’s the address.” He searches for a piece of paper on the desk; finding a pen and scribbling down an address quickly.
“Well I guess I’ll see you there.” I smile lightly, watching him head back towards the workshop.

I look in the mirror, readjusting my red bandana; smoothing out my black tee. I’m quite nervous, I really don’t know why since I’m only going to a party, but it’s quite nerve-racking.
I pull my phone off the charger and shove the sheet of paper with the address into my pocket, jogging to the front door and walking outside. I grab the paper again, looking at the address carefully. It’s not close enough to walk but driving to parties is dumb; so I guess I need to take a cab. I groan and hale one down, climbing inside and telling the man the address.
“How long do you think it’ll take to get there?” I look at my phone, the time reading 8:50; as long as I’m not too early it should be fine.
“Probably about twenty minutes, depending on the traffic.” The man has a very strong accent, making his speak barely understandable.
“Okay.” I mumble, opening up my twitter app and lazily scrolling through.

I walk through the open door, bass pounding throughout my whole body. My eyes instantly react to the darkness, the air turning bitter and dense. I shove myself past all the bodies’ packed inside the small entryway. I have no clue where Calum or Bri are; and I doubt I’ll be able to find them. I take a few steps before running into someone.
“Hi!” I look down at the dark haired girl, taking in her features.
“I’m Stephanie! What’s your name?” She asks, looking around the room.
“I’m Ashton; you must be Bri’s friend?” This must be the girl Calum talked about.
“Yeah! How do you know Bri?” She shouts.
“I work with Calum! He made me come tonight because he thinks I need to get a girlfriend or something.” I smirk, rolling my eyes.
“Nice! Have you seen him?” She tilts her head, looking around again. It appears like she’s looking for something.
