Condom

“Are you sure?” I ask quietly, our faces close to touching. Yesterday she didn’t want to talk to me and now she wants me to kiss her. I watch her nod, feeling her warm breath on my lips.

“ASHTON HEY!” I jump back, Calum and Bri standing there grinning.

“I’ve been looking all over for you!  I figured you didn’t show up.”

“I couldn’t find you and then I ran into Dana, so I guess I stopped looking.” I laugh awkwardly, slightly bitter at what was just interrupted.

“Oh I see… Hey wanna come with me real quick? Bri can keep Dana company.” I look over at Dana quickly to get her approval, which she gives me so I quickly stand up and walk off with Calum.

“Hey dude, this is awkward but do you have a condom?” He asks once we start to walk away, why is he asking me? Shouldn’t he be expecting to have sex or is he that irresponsible.

“I mean normally I have them, but my supply ran out and Bri’s kinda clingy tonight and I feel like something is definitely gonna happen tonight.” He grins wildly, taking a giant drink of whatever is in the blue cup.

“Ummm.” I pull out my wallet from by back pocket, searching through the few slots and finding the condom I stuck in before I came. Nothing’s gonna happen tonight; I’m not going to need anything.

“Here you go, hope it comes to good use.” I smile awkwardly, looking down.

“Thanks dude, I definitely owe you one.” He shoves the small package in his back pocket, walking back towards the two girls.

“Ready to go Bri?” He asks, helping her up from the couch.

“Leaving so soon?” Dana asks, seeming to enjoy the company her new friend brought her.

“Yeah, boys and their needs.”  Dana laughs quietly, nodding and sitting back down.

“Well have fun; text me sometime okay?”

“See ya!’ Bri says quickly before dragging Calum off. Good for him, I mean what’s better than sex with a girl you really love?

“She’s really sweet, I like her.” She smiles, tapping the seat next to her.

“I could say the same for you.” I grin, sitting next to her and wrapping my arm around her shoulder. She looks down, smiling lightly.

“Hey do you wanna get out of here? It’s crazy loud and I figure we could talk somewhere else?” She looks up at me, a small smile taking up her face.

“Yeah! Where do you wanna go?” I stand up, holding her hand and heading towards the stairs to head upstairs.

“Would your apartment be okay? Mine’s a total mess.” She laughs, leaning against my side and shoving through the front door.

“Yeah, that’s fine.” I smile lightly. “Did you drive here?” I tilt my head, walking towards my car.

“No, Steph picked me up.”

“Alright, well don’t forget about how nasty my car is.” I laugh, opening the door for her and shutting it once she’s inside.

********************

“THAT’S WHAT I LIKE ABOUT YOU!” I scream sing, laughing loudly as I pull up to my apartment.

“Oh my god, that was great.” She says in-between laughter, climbing out of the car.

“I know, I should be famous.” I wink, grabbing her hand and walking her to the door.

“You’re honestly really good at singing, I wasn’t expecting that.” She smirks, kissing my cheek; causing heat to form in my face.

“Well thanks; you’re definitely the only person with those thoughts.” I laugh, opening the door and heading to my room.

“I can’t say that my room is the cleanest, you’ll have to forgive me.” I blush lightly, leading her into my room, turning on all the lights so it doesn’t look like we’re in a casket.

“It’s not the largest, and it’s not the best but it really isn’t too bad for me.” I walk into the kitchen, pulling out a bottle of water from the fridge.

“Do you want something to drink? I have some water, ummm apple juice, and some more apple juice.” I laugh at the three bottles of apple juice in my fridge, it’s a commonly liked beverage and it was the only kind of juice that doesn’t remind me of Tayler in some way.

“I’ll just take some water.” She smiles lightly. “Thank you.” I nod, grabbing another water bottle and walking into the living room and sitting down on the couch.

“So what lead you to getting a job at the garage?” She leans back in the couch, taking a sip of the water. She’s so sexy and everything she does is just special. I don’t understand how something as simple as drinking water can be so exquisite.

“Oh, well I got fired from my old job because I took too many days off, and I get cars so I figured working in a garage would be the best option.”

“Ooooh, well I hope you get a better job than working the front desk soon.” She laughs. “You never know you could start answering sex calls for Calum or something.” She smirks.

“That’s true; but I guess it’s not too bad. I like working with people.”

Our conversation stops, and I wrap my arm around her shoulder; bringing her body close to mine. Her body heat radiates onto me, keeping the side of my body warm. I look down at her, only noticing that she’s looking up at me as well. I soon notice how closer our faces are becoming, my lips almost inches away from hers. Before I can even think I feel her lips pressed against mine, the fullness of them molding along with my own. Her lips are extremely soft and smooth, and it honestly makes me question every kiss I have ever had before this.

I help pull her into my lap, her legs straddling mine. Our kissing gets deeper every second, her tongue sliding into my mouth. My hands travel to her back, tracing the small protrusion of her spine. She shoves me backwards, sitting on my waist, with her hands pressed firmly against my torso. Her lips reattach with mine and her hands travel to the edge of my shirt; tugging it over my head.

I shudder when her cold fingers come in contact with my stomach, bringing goose bumps to my skin. As her hands are exploring they travel down to my belt; fumbling with the buckle. I pull away from her lips slightly.

“Dana, I don’t know if I’ll be able to stop if we keep going.” I pant, quickly running a hand through my hair.

“Then why stop?” She asks, reattaching her lips with mine, trying to slip her tongue back into my mouth.

“I don’t have a condom.” I blurt out, being blunt. God damn it why did I give Calum my last condom.

“That’s okay; it’s not that time of month for me.” She shakes her head quickly, trying to bring her lips back towards mine.

“I’m not having sex with you Dana.” I realize immediately how horrible that sounded; but I cannot risk her getting pregnant. Tayler got pregnant and then she died, and I can never let that happen again. She sits up quickly, climbing off of me.

“I’m sorry… I just; I should go.” She stumbles backwards, quickly slipping out of the door and slamming it behind her.

God I cannot go an hour without fucking something up.
