Well Marinette and Adrien would kill me if they found out but I was recording this whole exchange for Alya to analyze. We had a theory that was to discover the truest identity of Paris 's greatest foe. Hawkmoth. He terrorized Paris for too long. And now I fear he's gotten to our closest allies. Obviously Adrien and Marinette. If he's gotten to them, well that would mean the end of the entire world.

Chat Noir represents life and death. One touch and he could give you everlasting life, or a death that even your soul can't get released from.

Ladybug is the balance between good and evil. She can corrupt the kind hearted or cleanse the darkness from their hearts. It's up to them to decide whether to give life of goodness and prosperity or a darkness where evil leeks even in death.

That's why in this state I don't know the certainty that the balance is maintained...

*later*

"They are both unconscious. Probably from fighting their inner daemons." Croix said.

"Good. Keep them locked down here until Alya and I figure it all out." I said with my head already reeling. "Even use your magic if need be."

Something changed in his eye's just then. I wondered if telling him that he was free to do anything at will to keep them unconscious until my return was right. "Keep them alive dude."

He nodded his head and turned cracking his fingers. This all reminded me too much of last time.
