•Y/n's POV•I walked upstairs to Selena's room. I lightly knocked on the door, and she opened it a second later.
"You'll never believe what happened," I told her excitedly, and her face soon lit up.
"What happened?" She questioned stepping aside so I could come in her room. We both took a seat on her bed.
"Tyler kissed me," I said calmly, trying to hold in my excitement. Her eyes widened and she squealed.
"Oh my gosh! He kissed you!" She squealed loudly.
"Shut up! Don't talk about it to anyone, okay?"
"Why?" She asked.
"Because I don't want it to be a big deal," I explained.
"But it is a big deal!" She squealed again.
"No, it's not. Just don't mention it, okay?"
"Fine," she sighed. "But why don't you just ask him out already?"
"Not until I know for sure that I'm staying here," I told her.
"Come on," she complained. "Just ask the boy out already."
"No!" I said rather loudly, getting a bit annoyed. "Lets just stop talking about this."

•Tyler's POV•
I woke up the next day having nothing on my mind but that kiss. I was doubting on whether I should have done it or not. What if I made things completely awkward? I tried to brush the thoughts out of my head as I got ready for school.
•Time skip•
I was heading over to math, probably one of my least favorite classes.
I walked in the room, taking my seat which was behind Selena's. She was the only one I really talked to in that class.
"Hey Tyler," she greeted me, turning around to face me.
"Hey," I replied with a smile.
"I hear you and Y/n kissed," she smirked.
"Yeah," I mumbled. "I think I made things awkward. I probably shouldn't have done it."
"Oh please, Tyler, she loved it," Selena said.
"R-really?"
"She likes you so much, you must be clueless Tyler. Just ask her out," she told me.
"A-Are you sure?" I stuttered.
"Yes. Just ask her out!" she repeated excitedly. I only nodded quietly in response because the bell had rung, and the teacher started to quiet everyone down.
The entire class, I was thinking, should I really ask her out? Will she actually say yes?
Once lunch had came around, I went to the usual table I would sit at with Josh. He was sitting there already, and he smiled once I sat next to him.
"Josh, I need to talk to you," I said.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Okay, well first of all, yesterday I kissed Y/n. Now Selena is saying I should ask her out, and I don't know if I should," I explained.
"Hold on, you kissed her?" He asked, his eyes widening.
"Yeah," I replied quietly, looking down at my shoes to avoid eye contact.
"That's your first kiss! How was it?" He asked curiously.
"It was sick," I replied, and he laughed in response.
"But yeah, you should ask her out," he stated.
"You think she would say yes?"
"Why wouldn't she? From what I know it seems like she likes you," he reassured me.
"I guess so. Thanks Josh," I told him.
If I was going to ask her out, I had to wait for the perfect moment to do so. I didn't want it to be awkward.
