PHIMISTER: Jacobson. 10 minutes. I've got something to tell you, so your room better have your presence within it by then.____
Waiting patiently, I'm sitting on my bed, looking out the window, when Ellie finally barges into the room. "Hey, I was thinking and you need a nickname, and I have decided to call you "SJ" it's simple and it suits you."
Other children are on the lawn playing, a couple teachers are walking towards the forest, there's a new statue standing tall along the forests edges.
I turn towards Ellie and nod my head, the room visually blurring together. "Call me whatever you want, I don't mind."
I scan her face, noting small blemishes and scars lining her face, along with how long her hair has grown and how she'll probably re-shave it soon.
Wishing I could muster up the courage to inform her she's the only person I don't have to keep an eye on within the school, she bids me goodbye, and the sides of my mouth lift up a small amount in return.
Returning my gaze to the outside world, the forest latches onto their curiosity and as I'm staring into it's dark depths, my thoughts are recognizing the resemblance between the forests darkness and a certain girls'
eyes.I look away from the forest as It occurs to me that I could stare into her eyes
and not even be aware of my surroundings.
