Nagito awoke the next morning, convincing himself that today would be the date. "Maybe Hajime didn't take the hint," he said to himself. "Maybe he doesn't think of this as a date." Shrugging off this thought, he put his clothes in his cottage's washing machine, muttering, "I still can't believe Usami thought to put one of these here. Bringing us to this island without our knowledge is one thing. But planning it out this deeply... No matter, I guess. It's how it is."
He stepped into the shower, turning on the water and allowing it to wet his face as he let out a sigh of relaxation. "With enough luck and hope, maybe Hajime will accept l me. I hope that my love can be returned," he said, positioning his arms as if he was cradling something, smiling with what can only be described as near insanity. He had always been on the verge of mentally unstable since his parents' death, the day of his revealed heavy luck. He then shuddered, realizing the cold water had finally reached his neck. He then craned his neck up too quickly, resulting in a fresh chill down his spine, to which he let out what can only be described as a strange moan.
Noticing his sudden sound, he covered his mouth and laughed, letting out a deep sigh after. With nothing else distracting him, Nagito washed himself and retrieved his wet clothes, placing them into the dryer, once again thinking of how intricate and thought-out this cottage was.

Once ten minutes had passed, Nagito retrieved his freshly washed clothing and put them on, admiring the warmth before looking outside and thinking of possible blistering heat. But, to his relief and surprise, he stepped outside and didn't notice any heat. He sighed with relief, closing his eyes without noticing the figure standing in front of him. "Uhh, Nagito?" the figure called.
Nagito looked up with his usual smile and held out his hand in a small, yet greeting wave, "Hajime! I didn't expect you to be here so quickly!"
"Well," Hajime explained, "I woke up a few hours ago and I decided to walk around the hotel for a little bit, then I heard a strange sound come from your cottage." To this, Nagito froze and flushed. "I-It's nothing. Just got a little cold in the shower. Anyways, I have the trip ticket! Right here in my-" Nagito sighed and looked down, remembering how he just watched all of his clothes.
"Is something wrong, Nagito?" Hajime asked.
Nagito nodded, "I... I'm sorry. I washed my clothes and I forgot the ticket was in there. It's probably all messed up now..." Hajime sighed, but then giggled. And that giggle became a chuckle, and then full-blown laughter. Nagito looked up, surprised at Hajime's unusual cruelness, before starting to laugh as well. The pair both laughed hard enough for tears to come out of their eyes, causing them to grip each other's shoulders for a few seconds.
After the laughter, Hajime said, "Don't worry! I did a little bit of volunteer work a few days ago for Usami, and then she gave me one. I remembered it this morning, and I decided to bring it in case something happened. Because you do always say you end up having bad luck when you're having a good time."
Nagito's face lit up, "That's great! Let's go!" he exclaimed, and grabbed Hajime's arm, running out of the hotels and to the bridges, finally letting Hajime go when they make it, both panting and fired up. Hajime questioned Nagito, asking where they were going, to which Nagito gladly shouted "The amusement park, of course! What better place for a good trip?" Hajime nodded, and the pair walked off to the fourth island.
Hajime stated, "I've been here a couple times before, but every single time, if always seems so fresh and new. What do you want to do first?"
Nagito thought and shrugged. "What do you want to do? We're completely alone here," he insisted.
Hajime thought and said, "Let's go on the roller coaster!"
Nagito's face lit up as he exclaimed, "yes! We'll be exhilarated! I usually get scared on these things, but that means I'll have more hope because of it!" Hajime laughed nervously, always being a little scared when Nagito talked about being willing to do anything for hope, even kill or die for it. So Hajime and Nagito walked to the roller coaster, and the two went into the first car, and it started as soon as they were safely in the car. Nagito was laughing and screaming in joy the entire ride, but Hajime was somewhat afraid of roller coasters. He laughed too, but also gripped tightly onto Nagito's arm like a child, feeling comforted, but began blushing when Nagito didn't seem to mind, even wrapping the arm around Hajime as if they were a couple taking a ride around town. When the ride was over, they laughed as their hearts pounded both from excitement and secret love for each other. Hajime grinned, and almost gripped Nagito's hand before a voice came from behind.
"Hajime! Nagito! What's up!" Hajime and Nagito turned around in confusion, hearing the voice and smiling after they saw who it belonged to.
Hajime replied, "Hey! What're you doing here?"
They answered, "I'm just here for the food!" Hajime and Nagito both laughed together, knowing very well who it was. Nagito spoke next, "Akane Owari, the Ultimate Gymnast! Didn't expect to see you in a place like this!"
"Are you kidding me?" Akane asked, her mouth salivating as she took a munch of a candy apple. "Amusement parks always have the best food! Candy apples, cotton candy, corndogs, hotdogs, nachos, its all so good that I can't resist!" She was holding a corndog, a half-eaten hot dog, the remainders of cotton candy, and a candy apple with a bite taken out of it. Hajime took a step back after noticing this, in shock, before sighing and remembering that she always did this.
Akane looked at the two and made her dumb, confused face. "Are you two on a date or something? Two guys alone in an amusement park must be one of those one night stand deals, right?" Hajime froze, looking surprised, before waving their hands in a "no way" manner.
"It's not like that!" Hajime denied.
Akane smiled and shrugged, "Just hangin' out, huh? Okay. I'll see you guys later! Bye!" And ten she ran off. As usual, Hajime didn't understand her very well. Nagito was just glad that his cover wasn't blown. But he let out a small tear from Hajime's comment, knowing It was a childish and stupid hurt, but not being able to let his hurt slide by as if it didn't exist. Hajime saw the tear and looked concerned. "Are you okay Nagito?" he asked.
Nagito nodded, wiped the tear away, and smiled his carefree smile with his hand as if he were waving, "Im fine! Just the sun!" He then folded his arms and suggested they go on the Ferris wheel next. Hajime agreed, and the two went onto the attraction, looking at the sea as it came to a halt at the top.
"It's beautiful," Nagito said.
Hajime added, "Its like a deep blue crystal of beauty, and we're only allowed to see how wonderful it is."
Nagito turned to Hajime with surprise. "How poetic of you. Heh, maybe that's your talent. You could be The Ultimate Poet!" Hajime laughed to this and shook his head, denying that possibility.

After five minutes of the Ferris wheel being positioned at the top, Hajime saw his opportunity. He took his hand and, though his heart was beating like crazy, he was able to keep his composure as he placed it on top of Nagito's, who blushed slightly. Hajime acted as if he didn't do it on purpose, and Nagito sighed to himself, falling for the false composure.
When the Ferris wheel finally lowered, they both got off as the sun set, and they went to the restaurant, seeing as they forgot about breakfast and lunch. When they got there, they were greeted by a scoff. Hajime looked at the source of the scoff, and saw Byakuya Togami, the Ultimate Affluent Progeny, who smiled at the pair and patted the two chairs near his. After the pair nodded and smiled, they sat next to Byakuya, and the three of them had spent dinner discussing the stock exchange, luck, hope, and other random topics. By the end, Byakuya asked Hajime specifically to walk with him outside the restaurant, who excused the two of them from Nagito and the table.
"What did you want to talk about, Byakuya?" Hajime asked as they stood in the front of the old building.
"I'm curious. You know I'm not Byakuya Togami. You know I'm truly the Ultimate Imposter. But you're the only one that knows that. I would like to know if I should introduce myself to everyone. I'm asking you since you're the only one who gives me confidence in myself. So should I?"
Hajime thought for a second, and then smiled and shook his head. "Well, I don't think I'll ever know who the real Byakuya Togami is. So you're the only Byakuya I know. And I'd love to keep it that way. There's no other Byakuya Togami I'd ever rather other than you. Besides, it's still you. Even if you pretend to be someone else. You're the friend I know and I wouldn't ever change that."
Byakuya smiled, crossing his arms. "You know? You're right. I'll be Byakuya Togami while we're on this island. Thank you, Hajime Hinata!" He slapped Hajime on the back with a meaty smile and they went back to the restaurant. Hajime, Byakuya, and Nagito all then exchanged goodbyes and walked into the moonlight and went back to their cabins after one last "good night".
