A/N: This will take place a bit before season 1 ends. Before they find out that Pidge is a girl.

✩Narrator's POV✩

The paladins land their lions on the planet of Nulinia, home to the Nulinians. They had gotten a distress signal from the planet and went to help them. The Nulinians are a type of alien race some what similar to Alteans. They have the same shapeshifting abilities, but unlike Alteans, they can also blend into their environment. Nulinians have a grey skin and their eyes a a solid color with no pupil, much like galra have their eyes, but they range from different colors.

The paladins get out of their lions and are greeted by the leader of the Nulinians. "Paladins of Voltron! Thank you for coming to our aid! I am Nixon, I am the leader." He introduces himself to the paladins.

"It is our pleasure to help. We are here to help everyone." The black paladin, Shiro said to Nixon.

"So what seems to be the problem?" The green paladin, Pidge asked the leader.

"The galra. They came and attacked our city about one movement ago, my people and I have been on the Outlands ever since, but there are still some of our kind that the Galra have capture. Please help us." Nixon pleaded to the paladins.

"Don't worry. You and your people will be safe, and we will save the captured people." The red paladin, Keith assured the Nulinian. Upon hearing this, the Nulinians felt hope that they would be fine.

"Okay team, leads head to our lions and land at a safe distance from the Galra camp, then we will continue on foot from there." Shiro commands. His team of and they head towards to their lions. Nixon stops them before they could get back on their lions.

"Wait, be careful. They have the Warrior with them." He said. The paladins look at him a bit surprised. The paladins had dealt with some situations that the Warrior has caused for them, but they have never meet him.

"Don't worry. We will save your people and take down the Warrior." Shiro said and they got into their lions.

They maneuver their lions close enough to the city so as they wouldn't be seen. They get of their lions and head by foot to the city. When they reached their destination, they hid behind a building where they would not be seen by any soldiers. They saw as sentries lead a small group of Nulinians to the ship and some keeping an eye out for anything suspicious.

"Okay, so what's the plan?" The blue paladin, Lance asked their leader.

"Yeah, and how are we gonna know who the Warrior is. We've never seen him before." The yellow paladin, Hunk asked.

"Okay, so here's the-Ah!" before Shiro could finish his sentence, he is tackled to the ground by someone. The person tackled him out of his hiding place, exposing him to the rest of the gales there.

"Shiro!" The rest of the paladins yell out to their leader. Shiro pushes the soldier off and he stand up, the rest of the team running towards him. The soldier gets up on his feet. The paladins notice that the galra was way smaller than other galras, and the attire of this soldier was different from the rest. He wore almost skin tight black pants, long sleeve black shirt, black gloves, and a grey military-style black jacket with a hood. He had a purple belt with a satchel on each side and two mechanical looking swords of each of his sides, he also had a satchel strapped around his thigh that was holding a small blaster. And on his back was a quiver holding many arrows, but no bow. And his face was cover with a white mask with the eyes of the mask being yellow, and then the mask making it seem like he had another set of yellow eyes under the first one, similar to the mask of the druids. The paladins get their bayards out, ready to attack the person that had tackled Shiro. Soon after, two galra soldiers come to the scene with a group of sentries, pointing their guns at the paladins.
