Narrator's POV

Nakali's eyes flutter open. She sat up from her bed and looked around. She glanced at the altean clock and noticed that she had awoken early. She decided to try to go to sleep again. She layed on her bed once again and closed her eyes. She laid on her side, waiting for sleep to come back to her. She stayed there for a little over than five minutes. She opened her eyes, with an irritating look on her face.

"Great. I can't go back to sleep" She sighed. She was hoping that she did not wake up early since she was not on the galra ship anymore. She didn't have to wake up early or stay awake the whole night, she could finally relax. Even if it was for a while, but it seems that old habits are hard to kill. Since she could not got back into her slumber, she decided to go train. Training had always helped in some way or another. She wanted to go train, but one problem: She couldn't be by herself while on the ship. Everyone was most likely still asleep since she woke up early.

"I'll just go." She decides she can deal with Allura yelling and glaring at her. Right now, she just wanted something to get her mind off. She walked over to the dresser to get her jacket since she was only in her black leggings and long sleeve. She grabbed her weapons and glided out her room into the hallway.

"Does anyone know where Nakali is?" Pidge asked as she walked into the dining area. Everyone inspected her when she walked in, confused on why she had asked for the empire's ex-soldier.

"Is she not with you?" Allura asked, a bit worried on where she could be.

"No. I went to go get her and when she didn't answer the door, I walked in and she wasn't there. So I came here hoping she was here." Pidge explained. She was hoping Nakali is somewhere on the ship. She was hoping she wasn't doing something to break the building trust she had. They hear the door open and they turn their attention to it and see Nakali walk in. Nakali see that all eyes are on her.

"Let me guess. You were all wondering where I was, right?" She said as she took a seat next to Shiro.

"Yes." Allura glared at her, "You know the terms of being on this ship, you can't walk around without supervision."

"So you would have preferred me waking up one of you guys two vargas ago?" Nakali said, ignoring the glare she was receiving from the Altean princess. She had gotten used to treatment like that.

"You've been awake that long?" Pidge asked as she took her seat across Nakali.

Nakali nodded, "I would wake up extremely early and on occasion, not sleep at all when I was with the empire. It's gonna take a while for me to get out of that schedule. And don't worry I wasn't doing anything bad, I had just gone to train a bit, then I ended up falling asleep there for a bit." She picked up the spoon and began to eat when Hunk placed the plate of food goo in front of her. Allura still glared at her, doubting her words. As Hunk gave Pidge her plate, he took his and sat next to her. As they eat, they made a bit of conversation, but Nakali didn't get into it, so she just stayed quite until Hunk noticed something.

"Hey, is it just me or does Shiro and Nakali look like each other a little?" When Hunk said that, everyone looked at him, then at Shiro and Nakali.
