Her mother always said the same, when you feel stuck take a deep breath and keep going. So that’s what Emilia was doing standing on the entrance of her new Highschool.
She was more nervous than what she thought she will be, everything was new to her. New house, new state, new people, new country and she just wanted to fit in.
When her mother told her that they had to moved to Florida she thought about the beach and the wonderful weather. But of course everything she ever dreams is not as accurate as the reality.
They moved to florida yes, but to a place called Jacksonville, small town and definitely not a nice beach.
So here she was, on her first day of class completely afraid to give a step. She could do this, she was going to do great, this was her last year of high school and she was decided to have at least a little fun.
“You can do this Emilia, smile” and so she did and went in.

“Baby girl we are here” she heard her father said. She was not paying attention at the rode, she was scrolling up and down Chris Trevors’ instagram, he was so dreamy. “Holland?” her father called her and she smiled at him
“Yeah right… school” she put her red hair behind her ear and grabbed her handbag. “See you later daddy”
Once she was off the car she waved at him and her father left. She knew she wouldn’t see him until late that night. Her father worked really hard, it was just the two of them since her mother died in a car crash when she was eight.
She looked at the school, here she goes again, another crappy year, were the only thing she does is stay away from Riley and her minions.
They used to be friends but life pulled them apart, actually high school did.
She was walking thinking of ways her year could be more interesting, when someone bumped into her.
“HEY!! someone walking here” she said to the one who crashed with her. She rolled her eyes when she noticed who it was “You’ve got to be kidding me” she sighed “O’brien watch out!”
She looked at the boy in front of her, he was wearing his usual glasses and a baseball cap, and of course he had his eyes fixed on the cellphone he was holding.
