“Well that was easy” Kit said as they got out of his car. They decided to go to a diner close by and have dinner there, it was like 6 pm already.
“Yeah…” Dylan said, he was debating with himself if he told them what he agreed with Owen or not. He knew it wasn’t ok, but he wanted this to be over.
“That was a smart move Holland!” Kit said and the red haired girl smiled “When did you find the time to look for it?”
“When we were waiting for you” she said as they walked to a table.“It was hilarious! You two looked like a couple of detectives pressing a suspect” Emilia laughed
“Well I am my father’s daughter” Holland said and she looked at Dylan who was really quiet “What’s with you?”
Dylan looked at her through his glasses and shook his head
“I’m like really hungry, since we actually didn’t have lunch” he lied
“Dylan, come on help me get the order” Kit said tapping him on the shoulder. He nodded and went with Kit to the line in the counter, they had to order there.
Holland frowned she knew him enough to know that he was lying. Why was he doing it tho? Was it because of what happened earlier? She stared at him longingly and wonder what happened to him that made him like that. He was always so cheerful, she saw him only once after Riley came at her on the cafeteria and they barely spoke.
How could a rumor that stupid ruined their friendship like that?
“Ok, you need to stop staring at him like that if you don’t want him to notice” Emilia said with a smile on her face
Holland took her eyes off the brunette boy to look at her best friend sitting next to her.“Noticed what? There is nothing to noticed, he is just acting strange since we left that club” Holland shrugged
