"Why are you looking at me like that?" Dylan asked the red hair girl who kept staring at him from the corner of her eye. It was making him nervous."Like what?" she said trying to hide the look she was giving him. She was still shocked he punched Chris. He was always smarter and left the scene before it get worse.
"Like if I were criminal about to get interrogate" he said and rolled his eyes.
"I'm just confused...." she said "Why did you hit Chris?" he frowned was she really asking him that? "I mean... you had never lost your temper before..."
'Fuck' he thought and started to feel expose again. He was not going to let that happen again."Because he is an ass... and was really being an ass... and I'm just fedup of his stupidity" he said with a shrugged. He was not going to tell her he got mad for what he did to her.
"Oh..." she looked disappointed. Which she was, something in her wanted the reason to be her.
"Are you ok?" he asked when he saw she stopped walking "We are almost there"
"Yeah... yeah... I'm fine" she fake smiled at him. What was this stupid feeling crossing her mind about Dylan actually hitting someone for her.
He would never do that, right? She walked pass him, she was annoyed again, even though he just save her life for like the 3rd time that year, she still felt he wasn't doing it FOR her.
Dylan narrowed his eyes at her as he watched her walk in front of him. She just lied, she did have a tell after all.
He chose to ignore it, and kept walking behind her in silence. She seemed mad and he really wonder if it was with him or with what those two idiots did to her. They were almost at the edge of the woods, they could even see the tents. They heard a noise and stopped. They looked at each other with worried faces, but didn't move. Suddenly one of the bushes next to them started moving and something jumped out of it, making Holland scream and take a step backwards. She lost her balance, she was still wearing no shoes and quite sloppy.
