Chapter 20 - Day spent well

As I was done changing, I went downstairs and went to his studio.

He is not here yet. What is taking him too long though?

I roamed around the studio and noticed there's a big shelf at the corner of the studio. I took a peek at it and found an album.

Somehow it caught my attention. I take the album and see the picture in it. It was a little boy and a little girl who seems to be around kindergarten age. That boy must be Suho and the girl must be her sister. They are cute together though hahaha.

Suddenly, I heard a door knob being pushed. I turned my back and saw Suho came towards me, "What are you doing?"

"I was just looking at this picture. Is this your sister? She's really cute"

He cleared his throat, "well uhm.. no"

"Then who is she?"

"She is my friend. She used to be my best friend ever since when we were in kindergarten until we were 11. Uhm, actually I used to love her and she felt the same. So, eventually we dated each other. But later, I found out that she's been close to me because I am rich. She's a gold digger, she was trying to steal my wealth. She was using me for her own benefits. It turned out that my parents found out about it first and I came to discover it too. It was confirmed. I was hurted back then and we don't see each other anymore after that...."

I cut him, "and.. is that why you are ignoring all the girls in our school?"

"Yeah. I thought that there are many girls out there who are just the same as her", he said as he looked away.

"But, what about me? You don't think that I am just like those girls, am I right?", I asked out of curiosity.

"Of course I don't", he giggled. "For me, you are different. You are too innocent. Also, not to forget the fact that your mom and my dad are in the same company, I don't think you are a gold digger too"

"How could you tell that I'm different? We don't even know each other very well yet", I teased him.

"Just because.. I got the feeling. Also, I told you about my secret that I've never told anyone besides my family. I'm hoping that we could get closer", he grinned.

I smiled sheepishly.

"Let's go back to work"

We are done!! Our music project is now done! After spending about 6 hours, our song is finished!

We ended up with a 3 minutes song. The title is Crush On You. The instruments that were used in the song are acoustic guitar, tambourine, and a slight sound of keyboard.

Actually, our first draft of the music is based on the music that Suho had composed few months ago.

That is why it won't take us too long for composing the music. We just had to adjust and remix it. Luckily, the recording for singing went well too.

The song is simply about a girl and a boy had a crush on each other when they met at a summer camp.

The lyrics are mostly written by myself and was adjusted by Suho. I got more singing line while he had his own, but he also did rap for some parts. Actually, there are many parts of us singing duet rather than solo parts. I'm happy about that.

We sat on a bench together in a garden at his house while waiting for my mom to fetch me.

"About earlier, I'm going to say this. But please don't be mad", I broke the silence.

"Sure. Say what you want", he said as he turned his gaze on me.

I cleared my throat nervously, "Not every girl in this world is like that. I mean, there is some girls who are gold diggers. But, not all girls are like that. What I'm trying to say is, you can't judge someone easily. Try to get to know them more and then you can judge if you want"

"Yeah..", he nodded as he agreed.

I reached for his hand as I tried to understand him, "I know that you kept that pain inside yourself, that caused you to be scared to befriend with girls. Because of the scars that left inside you after what had happened in the past. It must feel hurt to know that someone is not sincere in your friendship and relationship. I hope that you can recover from it soon. I will help you with that, if you don't mind"

He looked up at me with a bright smile on his face.

"I'm also quiet scared if you think that I'm a gold digger too. But, no. I'm not like that", I giggled.

"I know it. I told you already, I don't think that you are the same with her. One of another reason is that, I'm the one who is approaching you, not you that approach me first", he said as he grabbed my hand too.

I was flustered a little by his words and action.

"Anyway, good job today", he patted my head. He pointed to my knee, "Does it still hurts?"

"No, it doesn't anymore", I smiled.

His grin told me that he's relieved, "Well then, that's good. I'm relieved to know that. I'm sorry"

"Sorry for what?", I asked. There's nothing for him to be sorry though?

"I'm sorry because I didn't protect you back then. I was late"

I blushed, "No, you don't need to be sorry. It's not your fault"

"I will try to protect you next time. Sorry for breaking the promise", he patted my shoulder.

"What promise now?"

He smirked, "I promised that I won't let anyone hurt you and blame you for anything. I promised for that back then, in the studio at school when you were mad at me for causing the fuss. Did you forget about that?"

Butterflies were fluttering in my stomach and I found myself lost at words to his answer. Suddenly, a car arrived in front of us. It's my mom.

I quickly stand up, and bow to him. "Thank you for today. Please send my regards to your parents later when they come back home"

And I quickly rushed into the car.

"Whose dress you're wearing now?", my mom asked.

"I borrowed his sister's dress because I forgot to bring my clothes. Now, drive mom!"

"What are you rushing about duh?", mom said.

She put her hands up, "Thank you for today Junmyeon! Pay a visit to our house soon"

He replied with a smile, "Sure"

After that, mom drove out of his neighbourhood. Today is such a big day, huh.

The longest chapter ever in this book! 1032 words were spent for this chapter! Truthfully, I made this book to be like a diary, which means that it didnt mean to be very long for every chapters. But it somehow turned out like this sooo.. urmm sorry?
