Kyle's Pov

Let me make this clear. I never lose a bet, a challenge, whatever you want to call it. I always win and I always get what I want. I actually believe that I'm going to take what I want but this time is going to take a little more work than I expected.

"She didn't even talk to you!!" John laughed. "Man, I told you.. cra-zy." he said wiping the tears from his eyes.

We are in the lockers and getting ready for our practice. John is putting his stuff into his locker and I'm sitting on the bench which is between the two rows of the blue and orange lockers. The room smells sweat and axe. They really need to clean this room.

"Well, technically she did talk me but indirectly she told me to piss off." I pointed out smiling.

He turned around and looked at me like he was trying to figure me out.

"Hold on a minute. I know that look. You actually believe that you are going to win this bet!?" he asked laughing again. "Dude, you are out off your mind. She hasn't talked to anyone and when they tried to talk her she didn't even look at them." he said.

"Yeah, I actually believe it and do you know why?" I asked as I stood up and put my hand in his shoulder. "Because I never lose." I turned around and leaned on the lockers. "I know Angel is kinda...but believe me when I say this. She is different but that doesn't mean I can't win her over. The only thing I need to do is just to use different ways and tacts?" I said with a suggested way.

It's true. I've been thinking about it. Angel is not the usual type of girl I 'hang out'. I mean she figured out right away that I was trying...you know. I need other ways. Maybe, even, leave the bad boy attitude.

"Wow, wow, if you are saying the thing that I'm actually thinking is not a good idea." he disagreed immediately.

"Just think about it. All I'm asking is a small period out off pranks and the player ways. I will just play the good guy for a while. Think about it. It's the only way. Otherwise, I would never be able to get close to her. She told me to piss off because of all the things she heard of." I suggested.

I knew he wouldn't like it. Jo thinks that without the pranks we are nothing and he needs me as his partner in crime. I've never explained his need to do those pranks. The thing is that they are not just small pranks like the one we did in our principal this morning. They are more serious. Serious, like getting us in jail. I still don't know how we got out of them.

"Man, are you listening to yourself? You are going to ditch everything just to win that girl over, for a bet? No, not happening" he refused. He was getting frustrated.

"It's not just for the bet, is about what comes after the bet! Kate. Fame. Reputation." I said frustrated. "Jo, think about it. The whole school is going to know what we did and not only will they want to be us but also they will be afraid of us and anyone won't try to mess with us. Picture it!" I said.

Jo sat on the bench and was looking at me like I was out of my mind. It is kind of crazy but it's the only way. You can't change the person you are but you can at least pretend you are somebody else.

He was thinking about it for long and after a while he stood up and headed towards the exit. He stopped at the door and turned around.

"Fine. But only for a month." he chuckled and crossed his arms.

There was a long pause before I answered. I was dumfounded. A month to win her over! Is he serious?! Time pressure added in the list.

"Fine." I finally said.

As soon as I answered Jo was gone.

Is he fucking serious?! How am suppose to win this bet in a month?
