Angel's Pov

They say true intimacy happens when the other person sees you at your worst.

That's what true intimacy is. You both create a bond that no other person has with you. You show the true colour of yourself when you are at that state and the other person decides whether he likes what he sees or not.

I read this on a book and it quite stuck with me.

It quoted that the most intimate thing we can do is to allow people we love most to see us at our lowest, at our weakest. True intimacy happens when nothing is perfect.

My life wasn't perfect. Nothing was perfect.

Especially now that, that day was near. The weight is heavy in my shoulders and I can't bear it.

I'm back at school and it is the last place I want to be in, especially now that Alex and I are not in the best place. I really want to talk to her but I don't know what to tell her. I haven't talk to Dave either when I found out what Alex was doing. By the time I got back with Kyle, I blocked everyone out and I need to explain myself to all of them.

I really don't know what to make out of this.

Does Dave know that Alex was playing him? If he knew, was he ok with it?! I mean... I am not blind I know Dave likes her, even if he doesn't admit it but did he give consent to be part of this game or was all Alex's doing?

Kate said "I don't fuck the same person twice, to hurt the other same person a second time." So that means Dave knew or found out later about it... I don't know. I really don't know what to make out of this.

I need some answers and now. At the moment, I know Alex has free period and Dave has a study session with Olivia.

Yeah, you heard me...Olivia.

Apparently, I was so into my shit that I didn't know what was going on around me! During Easter break Kate left school. Her parents moved to Melbourne so she tagged along and she is going to finish her senior year there. So, my head and my nerves have one less problem now.

As for Olivia she cut any ties with Kate after the scene she pulled off by telling on Alex to me. She started hanging out only with Alex and Dave after that. Kyle told me at the first day we came back to school that, apparently, Olivia asked for forgiveness on her behaviour to almost everyone on this school and mostly to Alex.

I remember Alex telling me, when we first met, that she was friends with her but I've never seen them hanging out but apparently I didn't know anything about her... To be honest I am not that of a great friend. I was so absorbed with my own problems and with myself that I didn't know what was going on my best friend's life. I guess, I don't know anything about her and it's my entire fault, not hers...

Kyle said that Olivia asked to talk to me but he told her that I will be the one to reach her because I am not 'at the best place right now.'... 

So, I guess two heads are better than one.

I guess I will have to skip English for this...

I get into the library and I try to spot where Dave and Olivia are sitting.

"Hello, Miss Vaile. It's being a while since I last saw you here. Everything alright?" Mrs Papps asked concerned.

Yeah...it's being a while since I've been here.

"Everything is fine. Thank you, Mrs Papps. I just have been a little bit busy?" I smiled making a gesture with my shoulders.
