I woke up in a paradise. Am I dead? Yep. Such a great day ended so badly.
"You ain't dead." Said Barry. Wait hold up. Barry, my teddy bear, just spoke to me. Yep definitely dead.
"Barry?" I questioned.
"Hun, I'm a woMAN not a MAN." Exclaimed my teddy bear.
"What should I call you then?" I asked.
"Caramel." She replied with a smirk.
"Why?" I asked puzzled.
"Cause I'm sweet and DELICIOUS!" Caramel shrieked.
"Ok then." I chuckled.
"Oh question!" I exclaimed raising my hand.
"Yes sweetie?" Caramel answered.
"Am I dead?" I asked.
"Nope just in a deep sleep." She replied.
"Sooo I'm in a coma." I stated. Caramel nodded.
"What about dad? Oh and what happened to Philip and mom?" I asked.
"Just like when you were 7, curious and adorable." She rolled her eyes.
"You remember me when I was little?" I questioned. Suddenly a cloud from the sky above us dropped in front of me and Caramel.
Caramel hopped on the cloud and patted the spot next to her, "C'mon I'll show you."
I sat down next to her and the cloud took off. The blue sky above us turned into what seemed like a movie.
"Bawwy, what is multiplication?" Asked tiny me. I remember that day. Maybe a week past my 7th birthday. The day before my front teeth were taken out by my dad, damn that hurt. At school that day I had heard the word multiplication so little me thought it would be a good idea to ask Barry.
3 year old Philip entered the room. "So! What doing?" When Phil was little he called me So because he thought it was easier to say.
"I was just talking to Bawwy." I said proudly.
"Ooh! Ooh! I talk!" And so past Sofia picked up tiny Philip and put him on the bed so he could be right in front of Barry. Then he started bashing his head with his tiny fist.
"No!" 7 year old me exclaimed snatching Barry from Philip.
"No Philip!" Tiny me scolded. Phil's bottom lip started quivering. Just as Philip let out a cry the movie ended.
"But you didn't show me present Philip or mom or dad!" I cried. I wiped a tear off my right cheek. I missed Philip, I know I didn't always show how much I loved my little brother, but he was one of the most important people to me. And the fact that I might never see him again just made me sob harder.
