7. Love Takes Patience

"Calm down honey." Caramel said rubbing my back.

"B-but I want to see them." I cried.

"Okay but calm down." She replied. Another of my life movies started. Now it was in a hospital.

"What do you mean I can't see her?" Josh said pounding his fist on the receptionist's desk.

"Sir, only family members can see her at the moment." Squeaked the receptionist.

"Well look," He said slipping a 50 dollar bill on her desk, "I'll give you this if you let me in." Smart ass. I giggled quietly.

Josh sat at my side, "Hey, so I heard you're sleeping beauty now." He chuckled quietly.

"And I know I can't wake you up with any kiss." He continued.

"But know that I'll be right here waiting for you." Josh said kissing my hand. He then stood up and left. The movie ended as well. I could feel my cheeks heating up.

"Sofia, you're blushing." Caramel said.

"Oh um y-yeah." I stuttered.

"You like him don't you?" She asked.

"I think I do, I don't know. There's also Chase-" I started. I am pretty confused about my feelings. I've fallen deeply for Joshua Copper. But there's also Chase, I don't really know how I feel about him.

"Chase as in Chase Roberts? The guy who dated half the girls in the school and the one you didn't talk to you for almost a year?" Rhetorically asked Caramel.

"I guess you're right but what about Josh I've only known him for a day." I replied.

"But you like him, I can read your mind ya know, and Rose has told you about him so you do kinda know him." She said.

"Ugh fine you win, but what am I supposed to do? It's not like I'll wake up and say 'HEY LOVE YOU TOO BOO!' I'll scare the shit out of him and waking up isn't that easy." I said with air quotes.

"Love takes patience hun, he said he'll wait for you." Caramel said.

"What about Philip?" I asked.

"He came the day you fell into your deep sleep, and delivered me to you." She replied.

"So you're basically my guide?" I questioned. She nodded. Thank you Phil.
