Emerson's POV
Saturday
Another girl and I were about to go head to head. This was my second match and I had plans on wining. "Remember Never Tap Out, no matter what" Archer yelled to pump me up. I nodded my head and kissed him.

"In this corner we have Jayda MayFair" the crowd was a bit silent as she readied her position. "In this corner we have new champion, Emerson Kendall" the crowd cheered my name as I smirked. "Are you ready?" The referee asked us, we both nodded then the match begun.

"I'm taking the championship from you" she whispered as she got closer to me. Her left fist swung at me, knocking me back a little. I stepped back over towards her. My right fist swung at her ribs, knocking her back against the cage.

I through fist after fist till the referee called it. Round two started, she swung a few times, I dodged all of them. I swung my right fist into her jaw then my left one into the other side. She fell to the ground, I sat on top of her throwing my fist in her face. The referee stood us up, then we went back to our corners.

"That's my girl" Archer said giving me a squirt of water. "Keep going, don't give up" he wiped the sweat from my forehead. "Finish her this round" he patted my shoulder.

The referee called round three, the both of us came back in. "Are you ready" he asked once again, we both nodded. This round she was throwing punch after punch at me. She now had me in an arm bar.

"Give up Kendall" she yelled. "Come on, Tap Out" I could see the look on Archers face, he looked sad to see me in pain.

"What did you say MayFair?" I said getting out of the lock on my arm. Her eyes rolled, that was it I was tired of this match. I threw punch after punch, watching blood go everywhere.

The bell rang and the referee pulled me off of her. "Winner, Emerson Kendall" my arm rose to the sky as heavy breaths left my mouth.

Archer pulled me to the back room. He shut and locked the door behind him. "We need to talk" he said with a frown on his face.

"Yeah, what is it?" I said standing in front of the mirror cleaning my wounds.

"I can't let you fight anymore" he said in one breath. I turned to see his hands on his hips, staring at me blankly.

"What do you mean, you can't?" I walked over towards him. I stopped about arms length between us.

"I can't let you fight anymore, it's to dangerous" he took a seat on the couch. I grabbed my stuff and started to walk away.

"Let go of me" I said feeling Archers right hand grab me. A single tear slipped down my cheek before I turned towards him.

"I'm sorry Em, but I care about your safety" his eyes stared directly into mine."I love you to much for you to get hurt worse than this" his thumb caressed my cheek.

"I know you do, but I love MMA, and I love you" he shook his head as my head fell to my chest. "I promise to be more careful" I said in almost a whisper. His lips pressed against my forehead.

"Fine, promise me something?" Our eyes met. "That you will always love me" my heart shattered to hear him speak. I kissed him passionately to take some of the pain away.

"I promise" he pulled me in closer making our lips touch. My bag fell to the ground as my hands found his hair. I tugged on it lightly, earning a light groan from Arch. We made our way back over to the couch.

He laid on top of me, kissing my lips then going to my neck. "I love you Em" he mumbled into my neck, making me tingle.

"I love you more Arch" I whispered into his ear. His eyes met mine for a split second before he kissed me again. His lips trailed down to my shirtless stomach.

I could see passion burning in his eyes as he looked up at me. I bit my lip at the sight of his muscular body, he saw this action and smirked at me. His rough hands rubbed up and down my bare thighs as he kissed my neck, making me moan.

"Arch" I moaned as my head pressed into the couch. He groaned in response; which only made me call his name again.
