Emerson's POV
Saturday
My eyes opened to a bright room with pale blue chipped paint. As I moved around I could feel two muscular arms wrapped around me. I smiled when I realized who it was. I wiggled around trying to break lose but, then feeling him hold tighter."Good morning" Archers raspy voice whispered to me. He placed a small kiss on the top of my ear, making me shiver with tingles.
"Morning" I smiled. His grasp loosened so I could turn to face him. Our heads rested on each other, as our arms pulled each other closer.
"How are you feeling?" His voice still raspy. I inhaled and exhaled clearing my mind a bit.
"I'm fine" I pulled away to look him in his eyes. His left hand, had left my waist to find my neck. He gently moved his thumb in circles. A sensation spread all over my body when our lips touched.
"I'm glad you are" he said pulling away from the kiss. "Happy one week anniversary" he laughed, which made me giggle.
"Happy one week" I said staring intently in his eyes. "I can't believe it's only been a week, it feels like a lifetime" he pulled me tighter against him, as we hugged.
"Archer, breakfast" a women's voice yelled. I had assumed it was Archers mother, which came to be true when we got to the kitchen. "Archie, what did I say about girls staying the night?" She said pointing a finger at Archer.
"Mom, we didn't do anything illegal" he laughed. I stood there awkwardly waiting for it to be over. "Mom, this is Emerson" his mom smiled. "She's my girlfriend" she hugged me when she heard the last part.
"Thank god, finally I have hope for grandchildren" Archer rolled his eyes. We grabbed our plates then we took our seats in the dining room. "So Emerson" I stopped her mid sentence.
"You can call me Em" I sat next to Archer which was in front of his mother.
"Alright, Em do you go to school?" She asked taking a bite of eggs into her mouth.
"Yes ma'am, I attend South Rose High" Archers hand found the bottom of my back.
"Okay mom, no need to interrogate" Archer said jokingly. His mother chuckled, I thought to myself that they both have the same laugh.
"It's fine, she just wants to get to know me" I played with my food on my plate. We all ate in silence, every so often chatting. Arch and I, spent the day together just waiting for our date.
(6:00pm)
"Are you ready to go?" Archer said walking into his room, where I had been all day."Yes, I would believe so" When I left Annie's I had brought along my stuff, yet I forgot my makeup at home.
"Well let's get on the road then" Archer said grabbing a towel from the hall closet.
"Where are we going?" I asked on the way out the door. He didn't answer me instead, he just unlocked a black mustang. "This is yours" I said amazed.
"Yeah, don't you remember riding in it yesterday?" I opened the door and looked inside.
"It's amazing" my eyes must have been over flowing with tears since I couldn't remember riding in this.
"You think so?" Archer got in and cranked it. My heart fluttered as I heard the engine roar.
"Yes, my dad had one of these" I stated as his eyes widened. "It was my favorite car that he owned" his eyebrows raised.
"Okay, what model is this?" He said leaning bag in his seat. I copied his actions as I listen to the engine.
"2008, Ford Mustang" his smile was as bout as wide as a eighteen wheeler. "In the shade charcoal black" he smirked. "My dad had a mustang that was performance white" I stated.
"Really, what year?" He started down the drive way. I thought for a moment to what the year was.
"2006, I believe" I smiled at the memory, when he would drop me off at school in it.
"You said he had one?" Archers face was curious with what I meant by that. My mind went dark to the day it all happened.
"Yeah, he got it in '08 and in 2010..he was in a wreck" I said sadly. "Ever since then, he's had a bad back" Archers eyes looked apologetic.
"Sorry to hear that" I didn't bother saying another word till we got to our destination. "Were here" Archer said happily.
"Wow,it's so beautiful" I said taking a gander at it all. There was a shimmering lake, with the greenest trees surrounding it.
"I'm glad you think so" Archer said taking of his tank top. From the way he was standing I could see all his tattoos. There were multiple all over him, with a bunch of colors mixed. "You going to stare all day or get in?" He chuckled stepping into the water.
"I didn't bring any back up clothes" I said remembering that I came in what I was wearing.
"That's fine, just take off your shirt and shorts" I rolled my eyes and slipped off my shorts. Soon after that my shirt went with it. I stepped to the edge of the water, I could see my reflection in the tiny waves.
"Come on already" Archer said trying to sound upset. I giggled and stepped in, I walked all the way over to Archer who was watching me with every move. "You look so beautiful" he brought his hands to my cheeks.
"Only when I'm with you" I whispered back to him. His smirk was cut off when our lips touched. Which didn't last long considering, he had pushed me into the water.
"Hey" I said standing back on my feet. My hands crossed over each other as I shivered from the coldness. "It's freezing" I stuttered out. Archer rapped his arms around me pulling me close to warm me up.
The sun began to set behind the trees as me and Arch watched. "I love you Em" Archer turned towards me, making my heart speed up and my breath hitch.
"I love you to Arch" he leaned in and connected our lips together. In that moment every little worry or sad feeling I had went away, all I felt was love.
I just want to cry with this cuteness..🦄😂
