Christopher POV:
TWO YEARS LATER:
"Why are you doing this to me?" Mookie cried hysterically as I sat on the edge of the bed and watched her rant. "You lied to me! How could you?" She hiccuped. I stared at her with a blank look on my face as she continued to cry.
"Man if you don't calm ya dramatic ass down." I said smacking my lips as I eyed her. "You gon give yourself a damn aneurysm, shut up."
"But y-"
"Imma only be gone for a month Mook. Damn." I huffed. I was trying to have patience with her and be a little more understanding due to the fact that she was hella hormonal and a lot more sensitive than normal. She was doing all of this unnecessary slobbing, snorting and sniffling just because I was going on a month long business trip.
"What about me and the kids?" She mumbled, after finally calming herself down.
"I can fly y'all out on the weekends." I offered. Mookie was acting like this was the first time I would be gone for a month. I've been gone longer and everything worked out fine. We communicated regularly and I made sure I saw them once a week.
"This isn't fair." She pouted as she folded her arms across her chest. Looking like Arianna's spoiled ass.
"It's only a month Mookie." I emphasized. This business trip was to make sure everything was in place for my fitness products to be released. I had an app launching, a protein powder that I designed myself being released, my own line of exercise and yoga mats, resistance bands, workout apparel, two books being published, water bottles, and a workout DVD all coming out at once. I worked my ass off these last two years to get everything done and I was proud that it was all coming together.
"What am I supposed to do without you for a whole month, huh? I'm supposed to have sex with myself?" She huffed.
"No bab-"
"You're getting beside yourself Christopher, I'm your wife! First you cut off your beard without even consulting me about it, and then last night you deprived me of sex, and now you're planning month long business trips. You really got me fucked up Christopher, naked mole rat looking ass." She spat.
"Shut yo midget ass up." I said narrowing my eyes at her. Last week I decided I wanted a change so I had my barber cut off my beard, only leaving me with a mustache. I came back home thinking it wouldn't be a big deal. Boy was I wrong; I got cussed out for hours, had shit thrown at me, and even got threatened with a divorce.
"I'm ju-
"First of all, I apologized to you for cutting off my beard. I didn't realize you were so attached to it. Second, we went three rounds last night. I was tired and my dick was sore! What did you want me to do? I'm not a damn machine! Third, I gave you my schedule for the year and you approved it. What's the issue now?" I said to her, calmly.
She didn't respond, she just stood there with a pout on her face. I simply stared back at her until she sighed and made her way over to me. She stood in between my legs and wrapped her arms around my neck. "Babe, I'm sorry." She mumbled with glossy eyes.
"I know this baby got you acting crazy but try to chill out, please." I mumbled as I placed my hands on her hips and kissed the top of her head. Since she was pregnant, her doctor put her on a different type of medicine to manage her bipolar disorder so it wouldn't harm her or the baby. Between her pregnancy hormones and this new medication, my baby was acting crazy as hell.
