Morning arrived at the treehouse with sweet melodies being sung by birds. Nikki woke up with her head against Marshall's shoulder and back against his chest. Her bottom half was sprawled out onto Gumball's lap.
Her face burned hotter than Flame prince's touch. She oh so carefully removed herself from their bodies and prepared breakfast for everyone.
Soon enough they all woke up smelling the delicious food. Everyone gathered at the table and enjoyed their meals.
"Oh my glob! This is like the best food I've ever tasted!" Lsp marvelled.
"It really is perfect Princess, thank you!" Flame prince beamed.
Lord Monochromicorn smiled and signalled a thank you.
"I'm really glad you all like it!" Nikki smiled brightly as they finished and placed their plates in the sink.
One by one each male (besides Lord Monochromicorn) had their hearts set on one woman. Princess Nikki.
Lsp asked her to meet him in the sunflower meadow at noon.
When she had arrived, she was appalled by his behavior. He acted as if she was some prize to be won. He bought flowers and chocolates plus other pointless gifts.
She turned down his confession of 'love' and went about her day.
Flame prince invited her to go for a walk with him.
He too made a half hearted proclamation about his 'love' for her.
Again, she denied him. She barely knew them. Besides, her heart already belonged to someone.
Two someone's to be exact. Marshall and Gumball.
Gumball was so charming and gentlemanly while Marshall was daring and bold. Both were funny and kind to her as well as sincere and genuine to her.
She was convinced however, that they weren't interested in her. Marshall had his gal pal Jodie and Gumball was always with Fiona.
Nikki was just happy that she was no longer alone. She had friends...... family. Everything she ever wished for, was right in front of her.
Gumball approached her.
"Nikki, tomorrow night I'm holding a grand ball and I would like you to be the guest of honor"
"I would love nothing more PG"
