Nicole and the other warriors slashed through the mangled bodies of the damned souls. The Lich stood before her. He held a hand to her and tried to coax her to the darker side of life.
"Lttle one, you remind me of the man I once was. Come with me and let me save you from this harsh world. Together, we could make these mortals pay for their crimes"
"Don't try playing mind games with me demon! Why in gods name would I join you?"
"Death has always been accompanied by coldness, has it not? Besides, who would want to be forgotten all over again?"
"W-what are you getting at?!"
"When you make your 'sacrifice', all traces of your existance will vanish. Not a soul will remember you. Join me, and I will make your name into a legacy that no one will ever forget!"
"I'm already a legacy! It's time you took yours to your grave Davinma!" her blade emmited a bright flash of light as she struck it against the scythe's handle. The damned weapon shattered to the ground.
Out of anger, he struck back at the girl.
She skid across the field before ascending to the sky to make her tribute.
An icy orb formed in her hands. She whispered her pleas for peace and released the ball into the heavens.
The warriors watched as the ball burst and the undead army crumbled to dust.
The Lich, in one last attempt of vengence, shot an orb of dark magic at the angel.
It landed, shredding her wings and sending her hurdling to the earth.
After she recovered from the harsh impact, she sat up. She was too weak to stand. Her body began to crystalize.
Gumball andMarshall ran to her. She stood shaky and unstable. Nikki smiled and reached her hand out to them, before falling backwards and shattering to dust.
They cried as she evaporated.
She was gone.
The two rulers secluded themselves. Three months passed and the emotional pain was still as fresh as it was on that day.
Fiona and the other princes tried to get them to socialize, but nothing pulled them out of their gloomy state.
