Pain. The feeling that inflicts on a woman's womb. The sound of an agonizing scream and a few gun shots was heard. The woman's teeth clenched, so tightly that blood is leaking out of the corner of her mouth. That drew a few vampires attention.
She was carried by two women, who held crossbows. That woman's name is Mari Domen and she was about to give birth to a future hunter. She held a black katana, which she named it Shadow. A vampire was about to charge at her but she stabbed it through the neck and kick it away before it turned into dust. Two vampires came directly at the two women but they shot them at the chests.
"Come on we have to find somewhere to rest!" Her husband headshot one of the vampires. "Hang on I'll hold them off! You take care of our baby!"
They saw an abandoned cabin. They obeyed the order and limped towards the cabin. The two women shot the three vampires blocking the entrance. They placed Mari down on a comfortable mattress.
She breath heavily, "Argh, this child better worth it, if not then these vampires have really low taste."
"We need hot water and towels. Rose, get water out of the sink and a blanket."
She bowed and ran to the sink in a hurry.
"Okay, Mari, I just need you to keep breathing."
"I am breathing!" She scowled, sweating. That caused her to cringed a little but she remained calm.
"Now, push and breathe if you tried." The pregnant woman struggled to breathe as beads of sweat poured from her brows.
"Hot water and blankets coming!" Rose sent the stuff down on top of the drawers. "Now, push again."
Her husband barged into the door, using the remaining bullets to shoot 4 vampires. "Anytime now dear!" A bang was the sound it made to kill a midget size vampire.
"I'm trying just one last push and this kid is coming out! Speaking of which..."
Somehow a miracle occurred when more sounds came from a wailing fetus in one of the women's arms. The newborn baby came out of her mother's womb and was in water. It had tuffs of red hair and delicate eyelashes. The two women wrapped a blanket around the baby. They gave the child to the new mother.
She held the child, tightly. She cradled the child and whispered to herself, "You've gotten your father's hair, but I wonder if you have my eyes." The newborn open its eyes to revealed a beautiful shade of red. It looked confused at first, but gripped on her finger. She smirked, "Huh, guess you have my eyes."
The newborn giggled and cooed. The father, bruised and tired, came in, panting, "They're gone I mean one of them got away but he's not our problem anymore." When he heard a lighthearted giggle, he saw the little bundle of joy. He stroked across the newborns face. "So, is it a boy or a girl?"
She stared down at the newborn, curious. "Only one way to find out." She took a peek at the newborn's gender reveal. "Well, it's a girl."
Rose asked, "What are you gonna name her?"
Mari thought hard until an idea struck her. "Asami. Asami Domen."
"What a beautiful name for a beautiful child." The redhead newborn stared at everybody, happily and curious. "She'll make an excellent hunter."
The father smiled at the happy newborn, "Yes, she will." They all gather and congratulate the newborn.
Unknown to them, a mysterious force watched them as they celebrate. It stared at the newborn with its cold, mismatched eyes. One them are red and blue. It smirked at the couple and child. "You may have won but I will return some day. And I destroy what you truly care about." Then, that mysterious force vanished into a mist full of darkness.
And that was how Asami was born. Next chapter will be where she will attend to Cross Academy.
