Valentines Day

Asami POV
I rotated my pencil in boredom. I kept hearing Erika and other girls talking about the Night class again. I sighed, "Don't these girls have anything better to do? But there more talkative than usual. Why is that?" I heard the word chocolate and decided to ask Yuki. She seemed to be talking to another female. "Hey, Yuki!" She gazed at me, waving and smiling. I sprinted towards her, not noticing the girls watched my retreating form.

"Hi Asami!" She gave me a dazzling smile. "She looks like a normal girl, so why does Kaname want me to protect her so badly?"

"What is everyone talking about chocolate and giving them to the Night class?"

"Oh, Saint Chocolate Day is tomorrow. Its a holiday where everyone gives chocolates to the person they like."

"Huh, I see...Thanks for the info." She was about to say something but was interrupted by the class president. "Oh no, its that dork. I never expected him to be the fanboy type. Is he like the day class girls?" When Yuki's friend mentioned Ruka, he fainted at the spot. "Well, that answered my question." I stared at the girl, "Oh, you must be a friend of Yuki's. Allow me to introduce myself, Asami Domen is my name." I held out my hand to her. "I'm Sayori." She shook my hand. "She doesn't seem that bad. At least, she's better than the day class girls." "I should probably get back to my seat."  I walked on the stairs to my seat. I went back to my pencil rotation. I heard two guys slumping in their desk. "I almost feel bad for them. Almost. None of the girls don't seem to be giving them any. Wait, idea ding ding ding!" "What is your ideas now?" "Well, my little voice, if all the Night class students receive as many chocolates, I might be able to sneak some in my skirt. Or I'll just use the day class as puppets." "Wow, you're manipulative and evil when it comes to chocolate. I love it!" "Finally, something we could agree on!"

"Hey, Asami-chan who are you gonna give chocolates to?" Erika eagerly asked. Hearing this answer, the girls crowded me waiting for my answer. I was nervous, "Uhh, I'm not much of a Valentines person. I'm more of a receiver for chocolate. Plus, I have no interest in any of the Night class students." I spoke in that gentle voice again.

"What, Zero!?" "Oh, yeah I almost forgot we have Zero." But, unfortunately, he gave everyone a cold glare that says "Don't mess with me."

Lucky, I wasn't falling for it, "Come on Zero if you charm your way into getting chocolate from everybody, there's a chance I...I mean...we get as many as we want." I persuaded him, but he just plainly said no. I was not the type to give up when it comes to chocolate. "Fine, then you leave me no choice." I faced down my head, seriously. Everyone stared at me, curious about what I'm going to do. But the seriousness completely faded away into a childish whine. "Wahhh! Wahhh! Zero being mean! Wahhh! I just want chocolates, pretty please Zero!? Pwease, oniisan?" I gave him my famous puppy dog eyes with a pouty lip. A few people sweatdropped at this, including Yuki. But the girls, who were talking to Erika, awed at my childish act.

"It worked when we were kids. It's not gonna work now. So, you should just give up." He sighed.

I glared at him, "You're no fun Zero. I'll guess I have to use my other secret weapon." He looked up at me, confused. I tackled him on his back, pulling his hair. He started running around, crazy, attempting to let me go. "Grr, you jerk! How can you not help your old childhood friend!? You know very well how much chocolate means to me! Why are you so stubborn!? Don't you care about the children!?" The students watched in amazement.

"OK, Zero, as much as I don't mind meeting in some secret place, why does it have to be in a horse stable!?" I stomped, angrily but flinched when a white horse shot cold glares at me.
