It's awesome 😎!Even, the ole folks' never knew, 👴🏻👵🏼
Why they called it like they do. 👍🏻
I was wondering since the age of two, 👶🏼
Down On Gunters-Line! 🛤Gunter head, Gunter feet, 👣
Gunter kettles sittin, side by each. 👈🏻👉🏻
Copped a cork, 🍾
Froma, Bama peach. 🍑
Down On Gunters-Line! 🛤Half a mile down to ole Short Creek, 🛶
I'm leaning heavy toward the end of the week. 👏🏻
Hercules, that hog nose snake, 🐲
Down On Gunters-Line! 🛤
We were down on Gunters-Line...One some night, on that Gunters-Line, 🛤
Slipped away past supper time. 🍲
Wood smoked and moonshine, 💭France 🇫🇷
Down On Gunters-Line. 🛤Once in a time, I saw my daddy dance, 🕺🏻
He moved around like a man in a trance! 👳🏼
He brought it back from the War in France! 🇫🇷
Down On Gunters-Line. 🛤Fresh water, then tomato wine. 🍅🍷
Creosote and turpentine, 🌽
Summer's mash, makes new moonshine! 🥃
Down On Gunters- Line! 🛤
Down On Gunters- Line! 🛤First kiss, ever I took, 💋
Like a page, from a romance book. 📚
Sky opened, and my earth shook. 🌎
Down On Gunters-Line! 🛤Took a fall, from a windy height, 🌬
I only knew how to hold on tight! 👌🏻
I prayed for love enough to last all night, 🌑
Down On Gunters-Line! 🛤Day breaks, 🌞
The Boy wakes up. 👦🏻
Dog barks, 🐶
Birds sing! 🕊
The Sap rises, 🌲
Angels, sigh! 😇
Yeah...! 💫 Oh....! 🤗I tried to go back as if I could, 🤷🏼♀️
All spec house and firewood. 🏘
Tore up, tore up good. 🏚🏚
Down On Gunters-Line! 🛤Doesn't come as a surprise too me, 😱
Doesn't touch my memories! 😔
Cause I am lifting up, and rising free! 🆓
Down On Gunters-Line! 🛤Half a mile down to ole Short Creek, 🛶
I am only praying 🙏🏻 for the end of the week. 📆
Hercules, that hog nose snake, 🐍
Down On Gunters-Line! 🛤Take me back, 🔙
On Gunters-Line! 👩🌾
Yeah....Oh! 🕰
Oh, down on Gunters-line, 🛤
Oh....Yeah, ⏱
Take me back, 📺
To older Summertime! 🌻☀️
Tic-tock, Tic-tock, 🎤🎼🎤🎼
Tic-tock, Tic-tock, 🎤🎼🎤🎼The time is slowly ticking away, the Clock of Life! ⏰
This is spin-off, from James Taylor's song Copperline.

I adapted this song to my summer home in Guntersville, Alabama.
Summary
The Tornado Of 2011
Hit the house, which was the last and largest that hit firstly in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, killing many. Then this tornado made its way to our home on Buck Island, in Guntersville. Coming down the Tennessee River straight toward our house.
Our Home was destroyed, alongside the many others, on the island! It ended, taking 33 trees off the land, and had knocked out our foundation of the home along with my life's foundation, to nearly 3ft under-ground.But somehow we managed to come back!
Strong, stronger than before! Rebuilding our summer home into a greater place, for our children and their families!!As my younger children were growing along this way,
and learning the laws of this land, around this area, we always went to a cove to swim. 🏊🏻♂️
It was about a half a mile, down to Short Creek and the kids would ski! 🚵🏻♂️
the water was as smooth as glass. This fact made it easy to teach our children to ski. Everyone, went there for that. And afterwards, we would all go ashore and have a family picnic.
This and so many other wonderful memories, remind me of this song. It was daily played on the stereo and the children knew every word.
Especially, Hercules and the hog nosed snake.
And the song, was forever the binding, for our family!
It, reminded me of all my greatest memories life.
Whatever, and wherever we were! When our small children ran naked under the sprinkler, when catching their first fish, while lightning bugs were caught in glass jars with punctured tin tops and when my small sons were small by my side, here with me, loved and wanted!!
But it takes me back, to those not so greater memories, also!
Remembering the family and friends, who now have crossed to the other side of the lake!We call it " The Lake Of Ages," our last days of living life.
We then, had so many of our family members alive, and that we sorely do miss. But, it is no wonder, that I picked, this wonderful song for it was bound,
forever to me, to rewrite it again for us, for our family.
It is a carbon copy of our life in this summer-home!

"Be The Best Version Of You"Postscript: CABINWOOD is the name of my husband's families plantation that continues to exist in Port Gibson, Mississippi. I not only have the original Catholic Bible of the family, I am a source on Ancestry.com, for this families lineage. It begins, in the year of our lord, 1700B.C. And that is the first entry date, inside the Bible,
The McDougall family, came by way of
St.John's Island,Newfoundland, into this country from
🏴 Glasgow, Scotland 🏴!
That is just one of our reasons we named our home from the original site.
And we did name our small piece of land, that we own, our little plantation, called
CABINWOOD
