"All I'm saying is that skinny people are good at a lot more than just moving along! Like, what are fat people good at?! Eating, that's it! Well, they can probably-"

"{Y/N}, just drop it..."

Hajime and Nagito had listened to you rant all the way from the park to the hotel site, they were tired of it.

"We didn't check inside the hotel, maybe they're are more people to meet." Nagito was quick to change the subject as the three of you noticed the large hotel in front of you, you shrug and decide to walk in.

"Yeah... Even the inside of this place looks grand, too." Nagito confirms as you walk into the hotel lobby.

"If this was really a normal school trip, I'd be smiling by now." Hajime tells you and Nagito.

"But...why are we the only ones in this hotel?" Hajime then questions.

"... It's an uninhabited island, we've literally went over this like ten times." You were over Hajime's attitude, it was starting to make you feel like a debby downer, too.

You, Hajime and Nagito decide to make your way over to a girl with grey pigtails in her hair.

"... State your business." She takes a step towards the three of you and crosses her arms.

"... Ah, we're just here to introduce ourselves." You tell her, Hajime nods quickly in agreement.

"An introduction... Understood, I don't mind." She closes her eyes and nods understandingly.

"Well, I'm {Y/N} {S/N}, I'm the Ultimate Podcaster, it's nice to meet you!" You were quick to introduce yourself, Hajime, however, took time, clearing his throat.

"I'm Hajime Hinata, nice to meet you." He says quietly, you roll your eyes at his sudden shy attitude, he was obviously intimated by the girl standing in front of you both.

"My name is Peko Pekoyama. It is nice to meet you, too." She says bluntly, you nod and turn to Nagito, waiting for him to tell you and Hajime Peko's life story.

"This dignified-looking woman is known as the Ultimate Swordswoman. It's hard to believe that someone with a cute name like Peko Pekoyama could be so skilled with a blade. I've heard she's a kendo master and that most adult men don't even stand a chance against her." Nagito explains, you and Hajime both look back at Peko, then back to Nagito.

You were waiting for Nagito to say something to break the slightly awkward silence, but Peko decided to speak up.

"If what the rabbit said is true, we are expected to live together on this island." She grabs both you and Hajime's attention.

"Yeah, you're right..." Hajime nods slowly, as do you.

"It is necessary for men and women who live together to respect each other. Don't try anything inappropriate... I would prefer...not to kill anyone." Peko warns, you didn't know if she was joking or not, when she stared at you with that much intensity in her eyes it seemed hard to believe it was a joke.

"Kill...? Isn't that sword on your back made of bamboo?" Hajime questions, you nudge his arm.

"Though it may seem impossible to kill someone with this, a misaimed blow can be fatal. Well, an aimed blow can be fatal, too..." Peko starts to think to herself, you, Hajime and Nagito take this chance to back away from her and make your way over to a girl who was playing on an arcade machine.

You stood next to the girl for a minute, waiting for her to notice you and look up, but it wasn't until Nagito shouted in her ear, then she looks up slowly, takes note of all your faces, and looks back down again.

"Oh, sorry... I must've been...a little too focuses on my game..." She apologises.

"A little...? Are you sure about that?" Nagito laughs at her, she nods slowly.

"Let's see... Oh, introductions. Got it... I'm Chiaki Nanami, the Ultimate Gamer. Video games are my hobby, and I'm a fan of all genres... Nice to meet you." The girl, Chiaki, says the most thought out introduction you had heard.

"Hi, Chiaki. I'm {Y/N} {S/N}, Ultimate Podcaster, it's nice to meet you too." You give a quick introduction, Hajime does the same, not mentioning his talent.

"... Yeah, totally." Chiaki took a while to say.

"It seems like this conversation is going rather slow." Hajime sighs, you nod in agreement.

"Well, she is gaming right now..." Nagito defends Chiaki's slow talking/thinking.

"It's more like... I'm the kind of person who has to gather my thoughts before I can start talking. Like, I can't talk that well unless I've already prepared everything I want to say in my head... Especially when I'm meeting new people... Well, if I get used to them, I can usually talk a little faster." She was extremely focused on her game as she explained how she spoke to people, she hadn't looked back up at you.

"Yaaaawn... I'm sleepy." Chiaki lets out a big yawn, you and Hajime nod understandingly.

"Is there anyone upstairs?" You question, pointing to the stairs behind Chiaki, Hajime shrugs as the three of you say your goodbyes to Chiaki and make your way up the stairs.
