Chapter 6

Will's P.O.V.

"Hey." I call to the girl sitting to the window of Starbucks. "Will! It's so great to see you! How long has it been." I think for a few seconds. "About, three weeks." I say, trying to recall when I first met Harper. I sit down in front of her.

"Wow, shorter than I thought." I nodded. "So, Mia. Is this another date of ours?" I ask, seeing how we were having a long distance relationship. "If you wanna call it that." She giggled. "What?" "I was just thinking about when we were in 9th grade. You know when we went swimming." I smiled at the thought. "When we became official." I blurted out. She nodded.

"So, did you make any friends while you were gone?" I nodded. I raised up to of my fingers. "Two people." She raised an eyebrow. "People?" I nodded. "Jake and Harper." She raised both of her eyebrows. "Oh really? I'd like to meet them sometime." I took out my phone.

"I could see if Harper wants to come, she doesn't really like Starbucks but she'll sit." I say proudly that I knew my friend so well. She nodded. "Go ahead."

I called Harper's phone and waited for her to answer. "Hey------my girlfriend wants to meet you------------hello?------------um, for around, a year or something.-----------sorry I thought I did.------------Starbucks------------just sit and talk to us, please!!!--------yay! K see you when you get here!" Then I hung up.

"You didn't tell her about me?" I put my phone away. "Like I said, I thought I did." I hear the bell of the door ring. I look behind me and Harper walked in.

"Harper over here." I say, waving my hands. She spots and jogs over. "Hey." She says as she pulls up a chair.

When I looked at her, I could something was wrong. "Hey, how you holding up?" I ask, she looks at Mia then back at me. "Huh?" "How are you doing?" "Oh, great." Then she looked at me weird. "I just saw you like twenty minutes ago, why are you asking?" I shrugged my shoulders.

"You were just hanging out?" Mia asked. I nodded. "We had a movie night." I say. "Oh really? How was it?" "A-mazing!!!!!" Harper over exaggerates. Mia laughed at her goofyness though.

The next morning I woke up and saw my window was open. I sat up and looked out my window. I looked out and I could see Harper playing on her laptop. Then I heard her gasp. "How dare you!" I giggle. She must've heard me cause she looked over at me.

I waved and she waved back. Then she looked back at her screen. "What the heck!" She looked back at me. "You, Mr. William distracted me!" I laughed.

She turned back to her screen again. "My neighbor." She must've been playing with someone.

I grabbed my phone and started scrolling through Twitter. It was all just a bunch of boring tweets. But then I came across one.

"Having fun with my girl." I say out loud. I started at the picture. Mia was kissing someone I did not know at all. My eyes started to water. I covered my mouth with my free hand.

This couldn't be.
