Chapter 18

Will's P.O.V.

I walked towards the bus stop. Harper had decided to walk to the bus stop without me. I stood next to her, I was little bit worried.

She looked at me and smiled, I smiled back. I looked back down at the ground. The bus came and we sat next to each other like always. And Ava turned around like always.

"Did you guys break up yet?" At this point Ava just wanted to be with me. I looked at Harper for the answer. She looked at me then rolled her eyes. "Not exactly." She answers. I made me glad.

I understood that we were on break and that doesn't exactly mean that we're through but, it still hurt hearing those word from her. "Not exactly? What does that mean?" She asks, as turns to look at Harper. "We're just.... we're on a break." She says.

She looked irritated. She turned and looked out the window. She pulled out her earbuds and started playing music from her phone. I glanced at her then looked away. I looked at the floor of the bus. Many thoughts crossed my mind, questions even.

Like why would she do this? Is she mad at me? If so how mad? Will Ava officially ruin our relationship? If she does will Harper ever talk to me again? Etc.

We got off the bus and Jake ran to Harper. "Harley." "Not right now Jake." She replied. I just continued to walk, therefor I was not very happy at the moment.

My friend Zach walked up to me, or everyone calls him Graser. "Hey man! How's it hanging." "Fine." I reply as I open my locker. "Where's your girlfriend?" "She's with her friend Jake." Graser gave me an upsetting look. "Why not you?" I sighed as I closed my locker.

"She's mad at me." I start towards my math class. "Why? What did you do?" I, myself, was starting to get irritated. Graser was annoying the hell out of me. "That's none of your business." I reply rudely. I was trying to imply that I didn't want to talk about it.

He stopped. "Well see you after class." He waved the started towards his class. "Yeah." At this point I was done with everything. I didn't even listen to the teachers in any of my classes.

I hated my life.
