Will's P.O.V.
I knocked on door to my home, I couldn't find Harper any where when I woke up so I assumed she had left. My mom opened the door. "Mom?" She smiled at me. I smiled back. "Will, sweetheart how are you doing?" "Great." I stepped inside and sat down to see how my mom was doing. She was always out on business trips and it made it hard for me to see her.
"Mom, you know how Mia was my girlfriend?" She nodded. "I never really liked that girl." I smiled. "She's my ex now." Her face lit up. "Really? Thank god. Sorry." I flicked my wrist. "Nah, its fine. But I got a new girlfriend." She looked at me worried. "Already?" I nodded. "Don't worry, I'm her first boyfriend so, I doubt she'll cheat. Ever." She nodded again. "What's her name and when can I meet her?" "Shes our neighbor. Her name is Harper." She stared at me for a few seconds. "Our neighbor?" I nodded.
That's when it hit me. I remember seeing Harper crying at the party. I stood up quickly and took out my phone. "Sweetheart?" "Hold on, I made a mistake and I need to fix it." I ran up to my room as I put the phone to my ear.
I opened my window and my curtains to see the back of Harper through her window. She looked over at her phone, then back at me. "Do you remember last night?" She asked me through the window. I put my phone down and nodded. Tears threatened to fall from her eyes.
"Harper I'm sorry, I was drunk and couldn't control myself!" She turned around, her back facing me once again. "Harp. I'm sorry, I really am!" I say again, at this point I was pleading for forgiveness.
"Look, I think we just need a break for right now." She turned and closed her window and curtains. A break? I've never been on one of those.
Tears threatened to fall from my eyes. My love, my sun my moon, my world, won't forgive me. Did she hate me?
