Will's P.O.V.
I stared at the movie playing, trying to distract myself from the breakup. I rolled my eyes then looked over at Harper. I smiled. She was fast asleep.
I pulled her close to my chest. I think I may have a crush on my best friend.
I woke up. Harper wasn't sleeping next to me anymore. I sat up in my bed and looked around. I saw her come out of the bathroom that was connected to my room.
"Good morning." I yawn and reply. "Morning." She closer to the bed. I felt her pressure as she came and sat on the bed. I looked at the time. 6:30. "Can I not go to school today?" I ask. "You'll have to ask your parents, but I know for sure I have to go." I nodded. I went to grab my phone from the side desk. But my phone wasn't there.
I looked over at Harper. "Harp, give it back." She laughed. "What back? I don't have anything of yours at all." She said sarcastically. "Come on I just woke up!" She held out my phone. "Gotta catch me first." Before she could jump off the bed, I grabbed onto her waist and pulled her towards me. I put my lips near her ear. "Gotcha."
I let go of her and she gave me a pouty look. "I didn't even get to run." She said as she handed me my phone. I looked through my contacts and found my mom. I told her the situation and how I'd rather not go to school today. And of course she was fine with it because of the situation I was in, but I had to go back tomorrow.
I set my phone down on the table. "I'll text you when I can!" She said as she left my room and started down stairs. "K!" I answer back. Today was going to a long day.
