Chapter 5

I'm so damn excited for tonight. But how are they supposed to pick me up when my mom won't let me leave the house? I go downstairs and see mom's phone glowing from her purse. I answer it, "Hello?"

"Yeah. This is Carlos and I'm just letting Cat know that we'll pick her up at noon," he said. 

"OH MY GOD CARLOS! Hey, do you think you can pick me up at that WalMart down the street?" I ask. 

"Um sure. Just be ready by noon Cat," he told me. 

"THANK YOU SO MUCH," i tell him then hang up quickly and delete the call history so mom doesn't even notice. Then I inspect the kitchen to see what i could POSSIBLY need to "pick up at WalMart." OH MY GOD YES we're out of milk. Normally i'd be all like FUUUUUUU cereal with no milk. BUT I AM SO HAPPY. 

"Moommmmmmmmm!" I yell. 

She runs down angrily with half straightened hair and a mess of makeup, "What the HELL Catarina, are you about to die or something?"

"We're out of milk. Should I go pick some up from WalMart?" I ask cooly and collectedly. 

She glares at me for the longest time and my heart races. Then she shrugs it off and just says, "What ever just get some creamer while you're out." Yaaayyyyy. 

"Sure mom," I said then ran upstairs to pick out something to wear. But first I write a note on a piece of paper and tape it to my mirror that says, "Sorry mom, I had to go. You don't understand. I'll be back tomorrow morning if it even matters. I'll probably be grounded until i'm dead so yeah. Love you bye. By the way I'll pick up milk on the way home :D

I tape it to the mirror and apply more eyeliner. I've decided to wear black skinny jeans, my white BVB shirt, and the same old worn out converse. I sprint down the steps, "I'll be back soon Mom!" 

Mom walks into the livingroom, "How many outfits do you have to wear in one day? You're just picking up milk jeez." 

I laugh under my breath, "You have no idea mom." Then I run out side and walk to WalMart. When I get there, they're already waiting and Andy walks out of the bus with Ashley. 

Ashley said, "I knew you'd be back friend!" He winks at me again and I laugh. Andy smiles, and that's when I hear the too familiar sound of Sky's old car coming up the parking lot. His muffler must be shot because it's louder than usual.  I mutter a swear word under my breath as he pulls up next to me and jumps out the car. 

"Oh my god. It's..it's... Black Veil Brides," he said. I look at him and said, "Yes Captain Obvious. Maybe if you didn't get all weird and freaking KISSED me I would've explained." 

I don't even look at Andy and storm off into the bus, watching them from the window. Even through the window you can see everything. 

I see Sky get tense and step closer to Andy. Then he retreats back to his car and drives off really fast and angry. Ashley comes back on first and sits across from me. Then Andy comes back. 

"I'm just going to guess that, he must of been Sky," Ashley said. 

I nod, "You have guessed correctly." Carlos drives off and Jinxx, CC, and Jake join us. 

Jake totally has a hangover, you can see it in his eyes and the way he's clutching his water. A girl also joins us of whom I must assume is Sammi Doll. Oh jeez she's so pretty. I feel intimidated and sink lower in my chair. She leans over and kisses Jinxx then sits down next to me. Oh no, oh no.

"Well hi there," she said. 

"Uhm hi," oh wow i'm awkward. Don't puke on Sammi, don't puke on Sammi.

She looks frazzled, "Who are you?" She asked curiously.

My eyes widen, "It's kind of a long story."

Sammi said, "Well we've only got like 3 hours left of driving. Lets hear it." She smiles and I explain.
