Chapter 25

*** Cats POV

I get home and drag my feet up the stairs to my bedroom feeling like complete crap. Walking through the door I see Andy's fast asleep on my bed. I take off my shorts and put on sweats with a tank-top. Laying into bed with Andy, his eyes flutter open.

"Hey beautiful," he said.

I smile and he kisses my forehead.

"Didn't mean to wake you," I said in a small whisper.

He replies, "im glad you did."

I kiss him and said,"do you have to go tomorrow?"

He nods, "unfortunatly it's going to be difficult Catarina. I'll be at concerts and on tour. You'll be in college. We'll find a way to make it work."

I sigh. We talk a few moments then I drift off into dreamland.

My eyes dart open and my hands search for Andy's warmth. He's gone. I'm alone.

***sky's pov

I step into Skupes Corner Store and the little bell at the top of the door rings. Instantly i drift to the alcohol and grab two bottles of Jack Daniels. Next, some sour patch kids. The only two loves of my life. The bell rings and I notice Claire over to the alcohol. Wait she's pregnant.

I walk up to her, "hey Claire."

She looks distracted answering, "Yeah. Help me out. What's good around here?"

My face stuns at this but i snap out of it. I lightly grab her shoulder and guide her right in front of the milk.

"There ya go sweet heart," i said winking and walking to the checkout. She runs up forgetting the alcohol.

"What's up with you, douchebag," she asked.

"Road trip," I exclaim emotionless thinking about Christopher. The check out clerk gives me my change and I as I walk out Claire stalks behind me. I get in the car, and she does too.

"Ok why the hell are you in my car?" I ask.

"I'm coming with you," she said simply adding, "I need a break from everyone Sky. Please."

"I think that's the first time you've called me by name," I said.

"I'm desperate," she said seriously.

I sigh, "fine. Get in your car. We'll drop it off and take mine."

We reach her house and she races out, "I'll be out in five!"

"I gotta say bye to Cat," i said jumping out as well.

***Cats POV

Why did Claire just race upstairs? I'm sitting on my couch and Skky walks in as well.

"What the hell?" I ask laughing.

He sits by me and said, "She's coming with me to Florida."

I stand straight up.

"WHAT THE HELL?" I yell angry now.

"Is that the only three words you know? Jeez Cat," he said humorously.

"WHY? Why would you bring her?" I ask confused.

"I'm leaving and she needs a get-a-way for a couple days. It's only a week Cat," he said.

I sit back calming down.

"I know..i know," i said.

He ruffles my hair like he's done for years, "see ya in a week Cat."
