Chapter 16

I'm sitting in the airplane waiting for it to take off. We're leaving Tokyo. THANK GOD. The tour was called off and the guys and Sammi insisted they fly with us back to Wisconsin. They'll stay with us for a few days then leave back off to California for recording time. I'm sitting with Sammi who insisted we needed girl time on the plane after everything that's happened. I play with my snake bites like I always do when i'm nervous. 

"Was it pretty intense in that elevator?" She asked sounding worried. 

I nod, "I'm really clautrophobic." I pull my knees up to my chest and look at Sammi. 

"Jeez. I hope you're alright Cat," she said to me. 

I paused, then nodded, "Yeah i'm alright. A little jumpy but honestly I can't wait to just be home again."

She smiles, "Me too. I can't wait to get back to California to start planning the wedding." 

"You know Sammi, you could always start in Wisconsin. I mean me, mom, and Claire could help if you'd like," I said. 

Her face turns red and she looked excited, "REALLY? Awh Cat, thank you! I really could use some extra help." 

I nod and she hugs me. Sky is sitting behind us and I turn around. "Ready to go home?" i asked with a half smile. 

His face gets long and serious, "Yes. God i'm ready to go home." I smile then turn back around falling into a deep sleep for the rest of the flight. 

I woke up because someone's shaking me. "Catarina wake up. We're in Wisconsin." Andy said. I smile at him and hold out my hands. He pulls me up and we leave the airplane. 

Soon we finally get to my house and I run inside not able to wait to hug my famil for once. Joe runs to me first and I pick him up hugging him. "Hey guess what?" I asked him. 

"What?" Joe said. 

I look at him happily, "Guess who's here?" His face lit up and he ran outside to their bus. I hear him scream when he sees Jinxx. They hug him, take pictures, and I watch as Joe asked, "Will you sign my guitar Jinxx?" I give a small laugh and watch as Jinxx said, "Hold on. I have something for you."

Jinxx returns out with one of his guitars then signs the body of it. "Why don't you have one of mine," he said. "I've got plenty of them." Jinxx ruffles Joe's hair and Joe just looks at the guitar. He says his thank you's and runs inside to show Claire. Mom walks out and I hug her. She looks like she's about to cry. 

"Tokyo was on the news. Is everyone alright?" mom asked. Oh great. More explaining. 

CC nods, "YES MA'AM! If Jake couldn't sorta, kinda speak Japanese we probably would have drowned!" i laugh at this. Wow. 

We all walk inside the house and sit in the dining room. Claire walks in and sees me. I give a small annoyed wave. She waves back and sits next to mom.  I hear her whisper to her, "Who are these clowns?" They're full makeup today. I'm not sure why, but i'm not complaining. They always look good. 

Mom whispers back, "Some band Cat is in to. Black Veil Brides." 

"Mom you whisper loud. If you're gunna gossip do it somewhere else," i said to her. 

My sister Claire is the exact opposite of me. She's a tall blonde who loves nothing but pink, glitter, and pop music. I shiver just at the thought. I look over at the guys. They're basically drooling over her. Gross. Expecially Ash, who's checking her out head to toe. Typical. I throw up in my mouth a little bit. 

I go upstairs not caring if anyone noticed I left. I just needed some alone time. I go into Joe's room and grab one of his older guitars. It's ebony, and I prefer to play acoustics. I bring it back to my room and sit on my bed with the guitar. Lightly strumming I get lost in the music and start to sing. I sing the one song in my head at the time which happens to be The Morticians Daughter.
