Chapter 6: Mother’s Back?
Joseph was mildly worried, but he had never been on a plane ride before, so he decided to make the most of it. The hijacker woman was standing at the front of the aircraft, and there was a seat open less than three feat away from him. Joe sprung out of the opening and jumped into the seat. There was only one other person in the three seats, and he was in the window seat, fast asleep. So, Joe slid to the middle seat and stared into the open air. It was beautiful. The clouds coated the plane like a blanket, but you could still see the sun peaking through the crevasses.
He was hypnotized by the heaven like surrounding, but quickly snapped out of it when a bird smashed into the window. Blood and feathers spread on the glass, and if that wasn’t bad enough, the bird threw up. Joe started to cry, as he watched the gruesome substance fill the window, until he could no longer see outside. While he observed, he noticed something odd inside the substance. It was a piece of skin. But not just any piece of skin, it was an eye-lid.
“No way,” Joseph mumbled. Suddenly he felt a gunpoint on his head, and heard the sound, click.
“Why did you move?” A ladies voice demanded.
“Um, I wanted to see the view…” Joe stuttered.
“Turn around.” The woman stated. Joseph quickly spun around and looked into the girl’s eyes. He instantly recognized her.
“Mom?” Joe smiled. Then the woman hit him across the head with the gun, and Joseph fell unconscious.

“Wake up.” A familiar voice sounded. Joseph awoke, and rapidly darted his eyes back and forth trying to discover where he was. He was dangling out the door of the plane. “It will be fun, just think of it as your first time parachuting!” Yup, that was definitely his mother. She then threw him out of the plane.
For the next five seconds, Joe felt completely free. He was flying. He didn’t worry about is terrorist mother, idiotic/ kidnapping brother, dead girlfriend, evil stepmother or inattentive dad. He was at peace. But all good things must come to an end, and it was about time to pull the rope. He tugged the string, and the parachute shot out.
Yet, it didn’t form into its regular shape. Joseph was confused on how this could be, but he figured out why when he looked up and saw the humungous rip in the fabric. He was going to die. So, he thanked God for his wonderful life, and closed his eyes.
SPLAT.

Joe’s eyes fluttered open. A crowd of people surrounded him, asking if he was ok. Joseph was back at the party.
“Yes, YES! I’m great, this is great!” Joe singed. He popped up off the ground, smiling from ear to ear. “Everything’s perfect.”
Joseph realized that his life was absolutely amazing, and he wouldn’t trade it for another one in a million years. He stared running/cheering, heading out the front door to find Mike and hug him. Planning, to tell him what a perfect brother he was. So, when he saw him on the other side of the rode, Joe quickly skipped/danced across the street. At this point, nothing could bring him down.
Then he was hit by a falling plane.
