It Can't Get Worse

Prologue:

Joseph is the happiest person in Oregon. Too bad, bad luck always follows him. It all started when his mother gave birth to him, then held him hostage at the hospital. She turned out to be a terrorist, which he discovered after she bombed the building. He was the only surviver, but lost both his big toes, which made him unbalanced later on in life. Luckily his dad (Lyle) was a workaholic and wasn't there for his birth, so he still had one parent. Shortly after his mother's death, Lyle remarried a local teacher (Merideth) who had two kids of her own, Jonny and Mike. They all despised Joseph for being happy all the time. Joseph had a horrible life, but kept from being suicidal by having a great attitude towards anything and everything life shot at him. So lets begin his story on his first day of sixth grade...
