The Good Life // I. Happ

Emma:
Riley Layne and Auston James. They're my world. Don't get me wrong, I'm madly in love with Ian but our toddlers. They're perfect. How do I wake them? Ugh! I feel arms wrap around me.

"Morning." Ian whispers in my ear. "Hey." I smiled. "What's up?" He asks. "Trying to figure out how I wake our beautiful little angels." I replied. Ian laughs. "I got this."

He walks over to Riley's little toddler bed, they're a year old and they're already out of their cribs. Ian picks Riley up and hands her to me so I can change her clothes and diaper.

He grabs AJ and puts him on his changing table. There's two of them because twins, we need more than one. We decided we'd put the twins in their jerseys because the Cubs play at 11:30 against the Nationals.

"Ian your daughter's butt exploded." I plug my nose.

Ian starts to laugh.

"How's AJ's diaper?" I asked, starting to clean up Riley. "Not as bad as Riley's." He smirked. "Why am I always stuck with the bad ones?" I complain. "I don't know, bad luck?" He shrugs.

I put Riley's shirt, then jersey on her with a pair of jeans. And then I put her Cubs headband on her. *muah*

"Perfect." I say.

"How are you done already?" Ian asks.

"Honey, I grew up with three younger siblings. This comes naturally to me." I smirk.

He finally gets AJ dressed and now it's time for breakfast. This should be fun.

"I get AJ this time." I smirked.

"Good, I wanted Riley anyway." Ian smirked back.

I roll my eyes.

"What are we feeding them?" I ask.

"Really, Em? We're feeding them the usual, duh." Ian laughs.

"You know what I meant." I laugh. "I love you."

He cups my face with his hands and kisses me. All of a sudden we hear noises from the twins. Ian and I just laughed. We make the food and finish feeding the twins. Now it's time for Ian and I to get ready. I get ready quick then sit with the twins  while Ian gets ready.

"Okay, babe I'm ready." Ian takes Riley.

We leave then get to Wrigley after stopping at Starbucks.

We pull up at Wrigley and get out of the car. I'm holding Riley and Ian is holding AJ. We walked into the clubhouse and I followed Ian to his locker.

"Ian, my man!" Rizzo makes his presence known.

"What's up my bro?" Ian asked.

"Not much, dude." Anthony replied.

Ian nodded. AJ looks at Anthony and reaches for the sunglasses on his shirt. Ian, Anthony and I laugh.

"Hey Em!" Anthony says to me.

"Hey." I responded.

Riley looks at Anthony and giggles.

"Hey, beautiful." Anthony smiled at Riley.

"Hey, stud." He said to AJ.

Ian picks up Riley then spins her around the clubhouse. My boyfriend is goofy.

The Cubs win the game 7-1. Ian got a 2-run homer and a two out, RBI single. I wait for him with the twins.

"Ready?" Ian asked.

"Yeah." I smiled.

I hand AJ to him and we walk out. Time for Navy Pier.
