It's been two weeks of med school and I am already drowning. Assignments after assignments, essays after essays, it just doesn't stop. AND IT'S ONLY BEEN TWO WEEKS. Don't get me wrong, I'm loving every second but, right now, I just wanna go home. And shower. And sleep. I could sleep in the shower. But I'm hungry too. Ughhhh, I miss college, it was a simpler time...
And so I lug my backpack, full to the brim of books, notebooks almost full of medical jargon that I just about understand and stumble back to my dorm. Just as I am about to open my door, I hear a voice.
"Heeeey, you're the girl who told me a 60-year-old beat me in an argument."
I turn to face the intruder of my dazed sleepwalk and hey presto, it's the Idiot.
"Not really an argument if you say like one thing and then get completely shut down"
Idiot smirks at me and leans on the wall next to my door.
"I'll have you know that I said two things to the lecturer, thank you very much."
"Well done. Now if you don't mind, I am two seconds away from falling asleep while standing."
Idiot looks me up and down and raises his hands up and backs away.
"Sorry, Medusa. Just leaving now."
He walks off and I open my door when he walks back up to me. He is like a dog with a bone and if he doesn't go away, I might just kill him. And then do CPR. After all, we said an oath, 'We shall do no harm.' (In my book, it doesn't count as harm since I'd bring Idiot back to life....)
"I didn't catch your name, mine's Aiden." He looks at me expectantly.
"That's because you got it right! My name is Medusa, nice to meet you and goodbye!" I shut the door on him and collapse onto my bed face first.
It takes me a couple minutes before I shake out of my daze and realise that that guy was hot. He had the whole Jackson Avery thing going on, light eyes, dark hair, tall and muscular. If I was still my old Secondary School self, I would already be cyberstalking this dude and know his social security number. But, as of two weeks ago, I became a med student. And all I wanna do is sleep.
