I had a dream
You were in it.
I was sitting in the park
You got my down on one knee.
I felt my heartbeat rise
You looked me right in the eye.
I started hyperventilating
You asked me to marry you.
I said yes
You put the ring on my finger.
I started crying
You held me in your arms.
I ask myself why I'm dreaming of you
You are happy with someone else.
I don't love you that way anymore
You were always my guiding light.
Maybe I just miss you
But do you dream about me too?
