Chapter 9~ Healed

Kai's POV

I openend my eyes to see the sun through my window. It revealed a blue sky. Just a beautiful day. There was only one thing i wanted to check.

I put my ninja gi on and walked towards the dining room.
I could see the rest of the team already sitting with .. Nya!

"Hi Kai!" I heard a few voices saying.

"Hey guys."  I said happily.

"Nya, how do you feel?" I asked while sitting next to Skylor.

"Better." She smiled "the pain is gone and my fever to."

While we were done with eating they all ask what Skylor and i have gone through.

"So you did ask dad- i mean , past dad about how you two will find that flower?" Nya asked.

"Yupp." But when i was thinking i realized that i leaved dad with a 'Good' conversation.

I sighed. "What's wrong Kai?" Zane asked worried.

"It's just.. i was mad at my father and leaved him.. i wished i could apologize right now."

"You don't have to." We heard a voice saying behind us. We all turned around to see my father and mother.

"Okay, SINCE WHEN ARE THEY HERE?!" Jay almost yelled.
Cole slapped him on the back of his head. "Ouch!"

"I don't need to apologize? But dad i'm-" i said but my father cut me off.

"No Kai, i should be the one who should apologizing , i didn't really believe that Nya would recover. But i didn't realize what you could do.. i'm sorry Kai."

"It's okay dad." I smiled "and i shouldn't flew off."
And with that we did a son and dad hug.

"Nya, my baby girl. How do you feel?" My mother asked to Nya.
"Better, thanks to Kai and Skylor." Nya smiled at Skylor and i.

After some embarrassing childhood story's and pictures they leaved.
After that I could see that Jay and Nya were kissing. I quickly turn my head away from them.
"Gross." I muttered under my breath.

Do you know how weird it is to see your sister dating your friend? But i'm glad that they're together instead of that Cole vs Jay about Nya. Menn that was drama.
But when Nya and Jay were together again.. it was a deja vu. But i'm happy for them.

"Hey Kai." I heard a female voice saying.
I turn around to see Skylor.

"Hi Skylor."  I response.

"Well , i wanted to say that i go to my noodle restaurant, now that we healed Nya." She said while taking my hand in hers.

"O-of course." I have to admit it , i'll miss her. And i think she knew that because my of face expression.

"Don't worry, i'll stay out of trouble." She smiled while putting a hand on my shoulder.

"I know." I smiled back.

She quickly give me a kiss on the lips and took off with her elemental dragon , While i waved her goodbye.

When she was out of my sight i heard a whistle "Go get a room you two!" Cole said while snickering.

"That you have nobody is not my fault." I joked.

"Hey! I have Seliel.. i just don't know when i'll see her again." He playfully punched me on my arm.

"Yeah sure"

Later we trained and when it was almost time to go to bed i felt a thug on my arm.

"Kai?" Nya asked.

"Yeah?"

"I just want to say thank you.. that you and Skylor saved me.." she smiled.

"No problem sis, you know i wouldn't give up that easily on you." I smiled back.

"But because of me.. you're hurt.."

"How do you?.."

"I know you Kai, i can clearly see that you're wounded on your right side. I'm your sister after all." She said while she put her hands on her hips.

I sighed "Yeah.. but it was worth it. Plus don't tell the others, or else i have to stay in bed and that's drama for me." I smiled.

"You're the best,  big bro. And i'll tell nobody ." She said while she hugged me.

I gladly return the hug "Thanks Nya.. and everything for my sister."

It was really fun to make this book! I just love Kai and Nya's brother and sister love. 🔥🌊
