CHAPTER 29

Chandler's POV

I wake up to hear soft crying.. I look on Sam's bed and see Clouds, trembling, holding half of a ripped picture... I still don't even know what happened to Lillian and Sam

"Clouds?" I lean on my elbows, waiting for a response

"it's all my fault.." she whispers

I get off my bed and walk over to clouds legs, bending down to her eye level.

"Clouds? look at me.." I place my thumb over her chin and slowly rase her face to look at my eyes

"she's gone, and it's all my fault" a tear escapes her beautiful eyes, I use my thumb to wipe it away and give her a small smile

"Clouds, Lillian loved you.. and it is not your fault..you can't predict the future" again.. what the hell happened??

"its my fault, she went on a date with Sam and-" she stops

"what?"

"where's Sam?" she asks.. oh shit

I suddenly get a call from Brittany..

hello?

Sam is in the hospital!!! ow..my ear..

What?! Where are you?!

St. Jon's Hospital..

I hang up the phone and look at Clouds..

"we have to go, get ready.." she stares at me confused.. but doesn't move

"Clouds, please.." I cup her face and stare at her small face

"I have no clothes.." she whispers

I go through my drawer and pull out some sweat pants and a small comic t-shirt

"here.." I place the folded clothes on her lap, she smiles

"what's up?"

"you wore this t-shirt to my 10th birthday.."

I smile at the memory.. "get ready.."

I change into some black skinny jeans, a black shirt, and a gray hoodie with my beanie..

I turn around and find Clouds dressed and ready to go..

"can I wear your beanie?" Clouds says barely audible

"I thought you hated beanies.."

"Lilly didn't.." I slide off my beanie and give it to Clouds, I look around the room and see the blue and black snap back Lillian made me buy back at Macy's. I grab it and put it on my head

Cloud smiles but her smile fades.. I grab her hand and race out the door

"how are we gonna get there?"

"car?" clouds stops, releasing my hand..

"no..isn't there a other way?"

I sigh.. "we can run..its only half a mile.."

at the hospital~

"dam it.." I curse under my breath..

"whats wrong?" Clouds asks

"I don't know where-"

"Chandler!!" I spin around and see Brittany in tears running to me... she hugs me out of nowhere..

"hey, calm down.. what happened?" I hold Brittany up by her shoulders

"S-Sam was in a c-car accident!" she says stuttering
