I look at my dress on last time in the mirror, tonight is the 2017NBA draft and Im supposed to go with markelle fultz and he texted me a few minutes earlier and said he was on his way, I touched up my make up by the time I was done I heard a knock on my door.
I grab my purse and head downstairs and open my door, my boyfriend of 2years welocomed me with a hug and a kiss "you ready to go babe? " he says wrapping his arm around my waist "yeah, let's go" I say, we get into a limousine and head to the venue.
Once we get there I sit at table with markelle and his family. Soon after we get there they start.
"For the first pick of the NBA draft the Philadelphia 79ERS choose Markelle Fultz from the university of Washington. " markelle looks to Me and hugs Me "you did it, baby " I whisper in his ear before he goes on stage.
After the draft we were meet in front of the building so we could all go to dinner but, before I could get there I felt somebody pull my arm and whisper in my ear " yo, babe why don't you and me go somewelse? " I knew by the voice it was markelle. I couldn't resist so I went with him and let's just was draft we won't ever forget
