"You didn't propose to me," she states while I watch TV. "And this is just an arranged marriage." She adds.

"For business." She clarifies.

I still ignore her.

"We weren't together before our wedding." She reminds.

"What else?" She asks and starts to cry. "What else did I forget?"

"Hey, what's the matter?" I ask.

"I'm confused. I don't know. Things keep popping in my head but I can't remember the exact things."

Is this what Dave was talking about? That Anna is sick?

"It hurts." She makes a fist and rubs her chest.

"What? Hey, don't think too much. You're just hurting your head." I suggest as I walk to her.

"No. It hurts here." She points at her chest like she's referring to her heart.

"Why?"

"I feel like my heart's gonna burst. I'm confused that I seem to forgot something big part of me." She says. She starts to worry me.

"Hey, hey. Relax. Come." I say as I lead her to her side of the bed. "Relax. You stayed all day outside. You must be tired."

"I've been thinking about it all day but I can't remember."

"Then stop it. Don't think about it anymore. You sleep early. We have flight tomorrow, so you relax tonight."

"Okay." She relaxes her back and I sit beside her. "But why were we not together before our wedding? How did we break up?" She asks.

"I said stop it." She reminds me of how she was after Eddie's and tita's death, her younger brother and her mother. I am worried.

"Don't think about it anymore. You're just stressing out yourself."

"Okay." She frowns and closes her eyes.

I want to ask Dave about what he meant of Anna being sick but I don't want to talk with that guy again.

I call my secretary for Fiona's contact number. Few minutes after, she forwards it to me. I call the number and am answered after three calls.

"Atty. Fiona Olca speaking. Who is this?" She greets.

"Leonard Wildia." I respond.

"What is it?"

"About Anna-"

"What about her? I hope nothing bad happened."

"She's acting strange. Do you know about this?"

"Keep her calm. As much as possible, please don't stress her out. And don't remind her anything related to her past, you can't handle her yet. Maybe just pretend to be a good husband. After your trip from France, I'll visit her. I'll inform tito Winter."

"Why? Why do I have to pretend? Did something happen?"

"Just do what I said."

"Hey... she acts like how she was when her younger brother and her mother died. I think this is serious."

"Then do what you have to do. This is why tito Winter entrusts her to you. If she gets worse, call me again. I'll come right away."

I end the call and blow a deep sigh.

What should I do? What if she's really sick? What if she's really back to how she was back then. I helped her recover but I can't this time if I don't know why she's like this again.

Now I understand why she's been acting strange. I guess I have to take those journals seriously.

I think of calling my secretary again to bring me Anna's box but I remember Anna is not aware that I have it. Maybe I will read those after our trip to France.

I'm seriously worried.
