(Note: This is like a few days after the last chapter)
8:21 AM, Overwatch HQ
*Knock Knock Knock*
You awoke from the loud knocking sound from the front door outside of the bedroom. You noticed Lena sleeping with her head on your chest. You stared at Lena while she slept, taking in her beauty.
The small freckles, her perky nose, her short chocolate brown hair. Everything about her was amazing. While lost in your thought you heard the knocking again, with it progressively getting louder.
You quickly and quietly slid out of Lena's embrace. Lena surprisingly didn't even flinch during the process. You stumbled out of the bedroom and went to the front door.
Upon opening the front door you saw Soldier 76. He looked like he has already been awake for hours. "Y/N I must speak to you and Lena immediately." 76 said while looking at you with a tense stare.
You took a breath before speaking. "Lena is still sleeping. I can wa-"
"Let her sleep, just give her this information later. Follow me." Soldier interrupted.
At this point in time you and Soldier have become more acquainted, but he never let anyone too close. Especially after what has happened in his past. You followed Soldier through the corridor that led to the mission debriefing room.
Once in the room you took a seat on one of the chairs that surrounded the large table. Soldier stood at the end of the table in front of a projector that displayed images on the screen behind.
"Alright Y/N, you've proved yourself as an elite agent. Im sending you and Tracer to Cairo, Egypt."
Soldier held a tiny remote with a button that he pressed which changed the image on the screen.
"Your mission is to head to this area. Here there will be a shipment that Talon will be receiving. Your objective is to intercept and destroy the shipment, bring back details of whats inside. Understood?" Soldier commanded while changing the image on the screen a few times during his instructions.
"Understood." You said back.
You began to walk back to your room. Upon entering your room you see Lena making bacon and eggs.
"There you are luv!" Lena exclaimed before blinking over to you and pulling you into a hug. Lena squished her face into your chest. You grinned at how childish yet adorable she could be sometimes.
"Where'd you go Y/N?" Lena said as she looked up at you.
"76 is sending both of us to Egypt for a mission."
"Sounds like fun luv! What are we doin there?"
"Destroying a Talon shipment." You said causally.
"Ooohhh... I wonder whats inside!" Lena got excited.
"We'll see soon enough." You said with a grin.
1:22 AM, Cairo
You and Lena walked through the streets of the slums together. It was dead, the only noise being the steps you and Lena took.
"We don't have all night!" You heard a voice echo from the alleyway up the street.
A man holding an assault rifle walked out of the alleyway. You and Lena instantly took cover behind a car parked on the side of the street.
You took a peek at the man while behind the car.
"Is he Talon luv?" Lena questioned.
The man turned, he had a Talon patch on his shoulder.
