"Lena! Lena!"
You ran faster and faster towards the almost lifeless body that laid on the ground ahead of you, even though a war waged on between Overwatch and the opposition. Gun shots and explosions rang through your ears as you sprinted forwards.
You dropped to your knees as Lena laid on the ground before you. Her chest bled fast under her chronal accelerator. Lena took a bullet right through the chest, destroying the device strapped to her chest. You held Lena in your arms while remaining on the ground. Lena slowly opened her eyes.
"Don't worry luv...." Lena quietly spoke, trying not to show the strong emotions in her voice.
Lena placed a hand on your cheek.
"I love you Y/N....." Lena said quietly as the blue light on her chronal accelerator flickered before turning off completely.
"Don't leave me Lena....." You spoke as your lips quivered.
Suddenly, Lena faded from your arms due to her chronal accelerator being destroyed.
You sat there, still holding your arms up as if Lena was still there. Unfortunately, she was gone, lost in time.
Tears formed under your eyes as you completely broke down crying. You smashed your fists in the ground, to the point where they began to bleed.
There was nothing you could do, Lena was gone.
...........
You jolted upwards in bed. Sweat leaked from your brow. You took quick and heavy breaths. You looked over and saw Lena sleeping on her side. You felt relieved knowing that Lena was safe and unharmed.
You looked over that the digital clock that sat on the nightstand next to the bed.
4:36 AM
You got out of bed and walked into the bathroom that was adjacent to the bedroom. You turned the light on as you stared at yourself in the mirror. The sweat on your forehead shined in the light. You cupped your hands under the faucet before turning it on. Frigid water filled your hands.
You took the water and splashed it into your face. The bleak water refreshed you and the sweat washed away leaving your face cold and damp. You stared at yourself again in the mirror as the water dripped off of your face and into the drain.
While staring at yourself in the mirror you saw Lena walk in and grab your shoulder in concern.
"Everythin' alright luv?"
"Yea, just a nightmare." You replied as you wiped your face with a towel.
"Want some tea luv?" Lena asked.
"Yes please."
You sat on the couch as Lena took a seat next to you while holding two cups tea. Lena handed you one cup as she began to sip on hers.
"What was your nightmare about Y/N?"
You sighed. The very thought of it still haunted you.
"I..... I thought I lost you Lena."
You looked at Lena, Lena looked at you. Her beauty was breathtaking, her personality was amazing. You realized Lena was the one for you and you were the one for her.
Before you even knew it you were engaged in a kiss with Lena. You felt her tongue enter the depths of your mouth. Your tongue danced with Lena's as your breaths mingled together. The warmth of each other's body added onto the intimacy already being shared. Your hands held onto Lena's waist as her arms rested on your shoulders.
Finally, you and Lena separated from each other.
"Why don't we take this to the bedroom luv?"
At this point you completely forgot about your nightmare, all that mattered was that Lena was safe. And Lena's intentions were to make you completely forget about the nightmare.
Lena grabbed your hand as you followed her back to the bedroom. The rest of the night was quite entertaining for the both of you. You and Lena did eventually get some sleep, considering the next day was gonna be very important.
