Riley Summers leant against the alley wall watching her three friends and hockey teammates.

Peter and Averman were crowded around the dumpster, while Karp was bin diving. The eleven year old girl couldn't help but sigh, wondering why she even stuck around them.

"Why are you bin diving again?" The brunette girl spoke, disgust written all over her face as she listened to one of her friends crawl around in garbage.

"Because we need a purse." The short, blacked haired boy, Peter answered looking at her as if it was simple.

"Ahh, yes, because that makes so much sense coming from an eleven year old boy." Riley said in mock understanding as she rolled her eyes in both amusement and astonishment at the boys answer.

"You just wait and see, Summers. This will be our greatest prank yet." Averman told her, a wide smile appearing on his freckled and glasses covered face.

Slightly laughing to herself, Riley watched the cars pass by the alley wondering how she even got into this situation. 'Oh, that's right,' she thought to herself, 'it was because Charlie practically begged me to come with him. Yet, he just left me with these three idiots with a promise to come back soon.'

Charlie Conway, the boy with the floppy brown hair and adorable brown, puppy eyes. The boy Riley had liked since she first met him, which was so long ago she can't even remember! The problem was that she and him were best friends. But with her feelings towards Charlie, it meant that all he had to do was ask her to do something and she would do it. Something that continually annoyed her as she was supposed to be a strong independent women.

Sighing in frustration the girl slumped against the wall in defeat.

"I found one! I'm comin' out!" Karp yells from within the dumpster walls, his body finally emerging from the trash.

"Karp, you finally found something for once in your life." Peter states, making Averman and Riley snicker in response.

"Dumpster Dave comes through!" Averman shouts in relief, helping Karp climb out of the dumpster.

Moving from the other side of the alley towards the boys, Rileys comments, "took you long enough," a smile begins to take over her pale face, "I began to think you were discussing life problems with the rats down there."

"Very funny, Summers." Is the only reply she receives from the chubby, short, brown haired boy as he continues to get out of the dumpster. "What do you think?" He questions his three friends who have now surrounded him as he holds up the small, dark brown and clearly broken purse.
