It was very rare for Black Hat to take even a step outdoors. Dr. Flug, being the (usually) smart one, thought to bring an umbrella to the small 'business trip' to a nearby hill, as it was going to rain. As he looked around, he noticed that he was the ONLY one with an umbrella, or any sort of protection against the soon-to-come rain. As dark clouds loomed over them, it started to rain, although lightly.

As Flug felt a drop of water falling onto the precious paper bag that he kept on his head 24/7, he panicked. He quickly opened the umbrella and put it over him. Nobody at Black Hat Inc. knows what he actually looks like. He likes to think that they don't even know he's human. The only time any one of them (except, of course, Flug himself) has seen any part of his face, was when Black Hat walked into his lab while Flug was eating, and that was only up to his mouth. That was back when he ate and slept regularly. As far as he knows, Demencia thinks that Flug is some sort of bag creature. Flug's train of thought was interrupted by the feeling of more raindrops hitting his bag. He looked around to find Black Hat with his umbrella.

If it were anyone else, Flug would have asked for it back, but Black Hat intimidated him more than anything. Flug's bag was soaking up the rain falling on it, and he feared that it would soon fall apart. Of course, he wore two bags, just in case Demencia tried to pull it off or something. But the rain wouldn't stop at just one ruined paper bag. He hid under a tree atop the hill they were at for cover, it was the only thing resembling some sort of shelter, even though the tree was terrible at it. Demencia loved to play in the rain, and 5.0.5 simply did not come. Black hat was standing not far from the tree, with the stolen umbrella shielding him. Flug feared that there wasn't much time until the paper bags would have fell apart, which the first bag had already started to do. He decided to speak up, for once. Him getting yelled at was worth not being discovered, and more importantly, not being seen.

"J-Jefecito? My bag isn't.. Going to hold m-much longer..."

Black Hat simply rolled his eyes.

'He doesn't understand how much this means to me-- Or maybe he does..?'

That thought was interrupted as the first bag was rendered useless by the now heavy rainfall. Panic engulfed Flug as he covered his head with his arms and put his head down. It looked pretty pathetic. Demencia was running around, doing whatever... Things like her do. Nobody was really quite sure what exactly she was.

The back of the bag began to waste away, and Flug could feel the water droplets. At this point, Flug wanted to scream, but he couldn't. Black Hat finally noticed the current state of his scientist, and asked him

"What's the matter with you?"

The only response that Flug could get out was

"B-bag.."

His voice was incredibly panicked, and that single word was almost a whimper.

Black Hat was intrigued by the amount of fear a simple paper bag could cause.

As the bag was about to simply slide off his face, Flug slipped his head into his shirt, hiding his face and some of his hair, but not the back of his head.

If anyone saw his face, he'd surely be dead. He knew that Black Hat despised  humans, and he was pretty sure Demencia did too. 5.0.5 was the only one who certainly didn't.

"Flug? What are you doing?"

The slightly irritated voice that was unmistakably his boss' questioned him.

"Hiding... Sir"

His voice was muffled due to the fact that he was hiding in his own shirt.

"From what, exactly?"

"..."

The poor scientist didn't know how to respond.

"Answer me."

"F-From... Everything..?"

"What?"

"I'm hiding my face, if that makes any m-more sense."

"Show me, Flug."

"N-No..? I can't do that s-sorry.."

"What was that?"

Flug quickly got up and ran away. It just so happened that he ran into Demencia.

"What'cha doing nerd?"

"AaaaAA"

He ran back to the hat-shaped building and quickly to his lab. He was completely drenched in water. Flug grabbed a change of clothes and two new paper bags.

After getting dressed and putting on the bags, he decided to simply sit under his desk and think. It was something he did any time he had some time to spare, which wasn't often. He thought about how close he came to having Back Hat and Demencia see him. There was a reason he kept a bag on his head. Not only for concealing the fact that he was even human, but also because he had many scars that, in Flug's mind, made him horrifyingly ugly. Not that he didn't think of himself that way before the scars, though. Once again, his train of thought was interrupted by pounding on his door.

Flug knew exactly who it was.
