"W-What?"

Obviously, Black Hat's reaction was confusing to the scientist. He hadn't yelled, or hit. This was unusual.

"I said you should've told me earlier."

"I-If you don't mind me asking, s-sir.. Why do you say that?"

"Because I have feelings for you as well."

'Whoa. No way. No fucking way. This is.. This is great!'

Flug felt himself smile under his bag.

"R-Really?!"

"Don't make this more uncomfortable than it already is."

"O-Oh.. Okay."

"Get back to work. Don't speak of what I told you. I don't need Demencia and 5.0.5 knowing about this."

"Y-Yes sir!"

Flug went back to his lab, feeling great. If Black Hat hadn't told him to keep quiet, he would've thanked Demencia. He worked quicker than usual, and was in a better mood. Demencia walked in, for whatever reason.

"How'd it go?"

Flug just shrugged. He didn't want to spill the beans on what happened, not until Black Hat said it was okay to.

"I'm pretty sure you do know."

"I can't tell y-you."

"Tellll mmee!"

He sighed. He was about to give in, when Black Hat walked in the room. What impeccable timing.

"Demencia, leave him alone, he needs to work, undisturbed."

Demencia groaned and left the room. She was annoyed, no doubting that.

"D-Did you need something sir..?"

"I was just thinking, and I realized I still don't know that much about you."

"I c-could say the same about you."

"Well.. There's not much to know about me."

"M-Me neither. I'm just a guy who really likes planes, and making things."

"I'm sure there's more to you than that. How about.. What were you doing when you crashed that plane into the building?"

"I'd r-rather not answer that question."

"Why not?"

"It's.. V-Very personal."

"Hm. Well, I'd better get going."

"Okay, bye."

'Phew. That was close. I thought he was going to ask to see my face. I don't know what I'd do if he did that.'

He sighed, and got back to work. He needed to be better prepared to 'answer' things like that, if he wanted to keep the truth a secret.

Hey! Sorry for the really short chapter. I'm running low on good ideas. But don't worry! As long as you guys are reading, I'll be writing! That, and I'm drawing a whole bunch. I'm really surprised at how many reads this is getting. Yesterday, In the morning, I was happy with 400 reads, then I realized it had 500. At the end of the day, it had 600!! Today, I looked and it was at 700!!!! By how fast this is growing, we might be at 1k reads soon!! I can't thank you guys enough for the support I'm getting. I should stop rambling. I hope you enjoyed the chapter, even though it was really short. Like.. really short. I'll write a longer one tomorrow, hopefully.
