 It was seven-thirty already.

The sun was rising in the city of Guertanna. The house of the Lakums was silent and perfectly calmed. The Lord left very early, not before going into her daughter's bedroom and kissed her forehead. He talked to one of the maids, to make sure that they would take care of her. He knew it was hard for him to left her little girl alone again, the fifth time in this month. But that was how she lived. With the absence of her father.

She was a miracle after all.

The Lakum family was very well known by its male hierarchy. For two centuries, no girl ever ported the name of Lakum. That changed when Rinna Lakum was born, five years after her brother, Erderik, kept following the male league. Rinna broke the chain and showed the world a new perspective to the family. People expected very less from her, everyone saw her brother as the big next Lakum member, the next Lord.

Since she was born, her mother suffered terribly under some illness. Few years later she died, and left in the hand of The Lord and his successor the life of a young girl with a brave heart. People saw her as the lady and the kind face of the family, doing the role as a normal girl would do in a Noble Family. But since very little, Rinna showed everyone her strong character and her brave ability to be at the same level as her father and brother without losing her essence of woman. Even if Erderik was already a graduate student of GGA, and there wasn't need for her to assist, she decided to study there, to control a sword and her own magic. She desired to fight against the evil. She wished to become the first girl Gulder under the Lakum name.

But her graduation was still months away and the girl was still a young lady.

"Lady Lakum..." Her maid whispered quietly in her ear, trying to ignore the snores of the young girl. Rinna didn't give signs of life. The maid shook her arm slowly, "Lady Lakum... the school..."

That's when Rinna finally moved her head between snores and opened her eyes to see the clock. It was already 7:35. She jumped from the bed, scaring the maid to the point of making her jump too. Rinna moved quickly to her wardrobe, throwing away all type of clothes behind her. The maid eventually caught them.

"Why didn't you wake me up?!" She yelled frustrated digging inside her clothes until she found her white uniform.

It was white pleated skirt with a white shirt. The only thing standing out was the turquoise blue tie and the cape that covered her shoulders and had golden edge. She quickly started to take off her clothes until she realized the maid was still behind.

"S-stop looking!" She ordered looking over her shoulder.

The maid turned around ashamed, "S-sorry milady..."

Rinna finally finished changing and ran to the bathroom for her tooth brush. "Just Rin... you don't need to call me like that."

The maid picked up the clothes "I-I'm sorry mila- Rinna!"

"It's ok..." Rinna replied with her mouth full of water and tooth paste.

She finished and looked again to the clock 7:38. "Shit, the bus!" She murmured darting out the room.

She rushed across the corridor until she went down the large stairs covered by a red carpet. The tiles on the floor were clean and shining as always. The walls had big paintings of landscapes and few of the ancient members of the families. The butler went out of the kitchen, pushing the swinging door with a plate full of nice cut fruit and bread.

"Some small breakfast for the day, Lady Lakum?" Said the old man with a smile, following with his gaze at Rinna, who passed him and took her small briefcase.
