Jenna's Point Of View:
Chapter Seven:
Take me, please
We drove around for what felt like a century. I passed glances at her every once an while but mostly focused on the road. Life has been the hardest it's ever been... I'm sure you guys are like pissed at me for doing all of this... but it's not like it's been easy on me either...
-Flashback-
"Where were you two?" I asked as my mom and sister game walking back to the car. David's Baseball game had just ended and we were all waiting to leave.
"We were just talking to Laura. Asked her some stuff." My mom told me as Anna jumped in. I looked at my mom with a questioning stare.
"Where is she?" She pointed to the bus and my heart sank. I saw her looking out the window towards me. Her expression felt like a speeding bullet through my chest and out my back. I was crying... I can't believe it. I never cry... I turned back towards my mom and frowned.
"What's wrong?" She asked me. I was in full tears now.
"Nothing... just something in my eye." She scoffed and took me away from everyone.
"What's wrong with you Jenna? You've barely have eaten, slept, or even talked the past 3 weeks. As your mother, I demand to know what's wrong!" She was grabbing my shoulders now. I sighed and looked back at the empty bus stop now.
"I Miss her... a lot mom." I looked her in the eye and she just relaxed a little.
"Why haven't you two spoken?" She asked kindly.
"Because... ugh it's just complicated."
"Only if you let it, Jenna. Talk to her, she misses you too." With that said I sighed and got in them.
--- End Flash back----
I parked outside her house. I've never been here before... her house was amazing. The snow on it made it look like a wonderland. Thee big trees were all over it.
"Your house is amazing, Laura." I could see the cold air mixing with mine.
"Thanks." She said. We sat there for a moment until she leaned back and grabbed her gym bag.
"Thanks for the ride. I'll pay you back some how..." She moved to get out of my car, but I stopped her.
"We need to talk..." I said with my head down. She stiffened and turned back to me.
"No. We don't. I'm done with this 'Push me Pull me' bullshit you're putting on me... I don't want to be apart of it anymore. It's hurt too much Jenna..." She sighed as she looked in my eyes. I looked away and sat back into my seat. She opened the car door and got out. I was just sitting there when I heard a thud. I looked out the window and saw her on the ground. I rushed out of my car and crouched by her side. She was holding her ankle and hissing.
"Are you alright?" I said caringly.
"I think I just twisted it... It's no biggie. I should be fine by this weekend." She went to stand up but couldn't completely balance herself. I caught her and steady her.
"Come on, let's get you inside." She sighed and nodded. I helped her walk to the front door.
"Where are your house keys?" She said in the gym bag. I got them and unlocked the door. She directed me to her room, me carrying her gym bag and helping her up the stairs. When we got to her room, I was assaulted with the scent of her. I sighed and pushed that thought out of my mind. I helped her onto her bed, which I noted was much larger than mine. She took her shoes off gently as I looked around her room. Her room was painted a light tent of red with band posters and of course some Idols like Hilary Duff, Johnny Depp, Kiera Knightly, and Amy Lee. I laughed on the inside. I looked around her room. It was pretty big and nice, nice tv, of course a PlayStation 3.
